Lucozade Energy Original 4 x 380ml

I recently got a 4 pack of Lucozade Sport Raspberry. It was a random buy as I had drank Lucozade for years, it was very big in Ireland when I was growing up, but havent had an urge to drink it again until recently. Ive been using it as a water substitute in work for the last few weeks and its been working surprisingly well. It has a not too overpowering taste and it does what it says on the bottle, it certainly keeps you hydrated. Ive also been using it whilst training on my fixed bike, and again it works well for keeping you hydrated whilst exercising. Its an isotonic drink so it has some sugars and salt, and it is a little sweeter than I was expecting but not offputting as you get used to the taste after a while. I always like to keep a Lucozade sport raspberry in my bag when I am participating in sports based activity such as gym, running or fight klub. . Its my goto on a training day , hot day or a day when I know Ive got a lot of activities on. Its a perfect balance of carbohydrates and electrolytes in a still delicious raspberry flavour without any bloating and its refreshing to quench your thirst and it will give you the perfect pick me up without crashing your sugars. This is my favourite flavour to drink and I find sipping some just before my work out, some more during and then the other half after gives me my best performance. Thanks to Lucozade Sport.

Classic undisputed drink

Nothing beats a Lucozade.Nothing.If it the classic original flavour to the many many many others, it's the go to drink to sort you out if your feeling lethargic.Personally, it's my hangover drink lol. If I've had a few the night before, this original absolutely sorts me out for the rest of the day. I have no idea what it does, but it works. The original flavour , I can't even guess what the flavours used are but it's such a classic flavour that sizzles your taste buds alive again. I have tried all the other flavours but I always find myself back at the original. It's been on our shelves for as long as I remember. Hopefully it stays that way forever.

Loved it!

By far the superior energy drink. Lucozade have nailed it with the orange favour, I've never been a fan of the original flavour but this is certainly a favourite for me. The 1.45 litre bottle means I've had more of what I enjoy. Plenty of fizz plenty flavour, it puts other energy drinks to shame. Been a fan of Lucozade since I first used these drinks to give me the added energy boost and found this does it best. Isotonic drinks like this are great for replenishing lost salts etc and give that much needed boost.

Lovely refreshing drink

My family and I really enjoyed drinking Lucozade energy drinks during our tennis practice. They are refreshing and energising and come in good sized, recyclable bottles. The bottles have a lovely, uplifting, motivating design. The flavour and scent are nice and it has the right amount of bubbles! Such a great staple sports drink, especially for the warmer months and gym days! I highly recommend trying this drink.

Original Lucozade...

Perfect refresher

I did love this drink as it fits to refresh any time, any season. I enjoyed the taste as it is not too sweet, doesn’t have any artificial or chemical taste as most of energy drinks have. Additionally, after having a drink you can feel your energy levels to go up and you feel energetic all day long. I love to have it at the lunch time when my energy levels are a bit down. Ingredients are more healthier and natural comparing with other energy drinks. I love to have it just from the fridge for extra refreshment. Overall, love this drink

Ruined by artificial sweeteners!

I've drank Lucozade my entire life. I've loved the original flavour's taste as far back as I can remember, as my whole family has always drank it - from my great-grandmother, through another three generations to me. Recently I had a bottle which tasted wrong, kind of foul to be honest. A bitterness that somehow left a fake sweet aftertaste.I've since discovered they've reduced the glucose and added in artificial sweeteners. No mention of this on any packaging! It's ruined a product that's been around for so many generations, and why? The sweeteners they've added are known to be unhealthy so it's not on health grounds. We're quite capable of mixing it with water if we wanted to reduce the sugar (something I've done for many years in fact). Why not bring out a 'lite' version instead of ruining the original for all your customers if you felt the need to chase the artificial sweetener brigade?The way this has been sneaked to market reflects terribly upon the company too - you simply don't change a recipe without marking it on the packaging for a while. I'll be keeping a close eye on the other Lucozade drinks I buy and if the sweeteners turn up there you'll have gone from earning a small fortune from me each month to nothing in one of the most suicidal moves I've ever witnessed a company take with its products.

So refreshing

We are a family that loves the refreshing taste of Lucozade. It has been a firm favourite for many years and a product that I buy weekly. My husband was very poorly and the only drink that gave him any energy that he could tolerate was Lucozade.However I was the drinker of this bottle. I had been feeling so run down and full of cold that this gave me the energy I needed. It was also a lovely sparkling drink to have, soothing on my throat. Even if you feel like you need a little top up, perhaps you energy levels are lower then usual, this really is the drink that can help your get up and go.
