Take home a piece of history. There's nothing like a Ludwig snare. The Ludwig 14 x 6.5'' Black Magic Snare Drum's brass shell is based closely on that of its older brother, the infamous Black Beauty, and carries many of the same, sought-after characteristics. From light brushwork to full rim shot crack, the Black Magic produces an open, yet warm tone that's also rich in metallic, upper harmonics, adding an increasingly up-front attack to the sound the harder it's struck. A set of 2.3mm, triple-flanged hoops enhance the drum's colourful timbre, offering improved sustain and an airy, natural feel. These work with the 10 vintage-look, Ludwig tube lugs to provide rock-solid, precise tuning at any pitch. With a stunning black nickel-plated shell finish offsetting the brilliant chrome hardware, this is an incredibly versatile snare drum at a competitive price point that brings that instantly recognisable, Ludwig sound to a new generation of drummers.
