Expiry was 10 months away, Feb 2025. The taste is literally the worst and awful coffee I have ever tasted. Now already set aside as cleaning beans. Highly doubted about why it was on flash sales every alternate days. Suspected that the product is turning bad. STAY AWAY!!!!

Delicious

Received free in exchange for review. I felt a right muppet when these arrived - I hadn't realised they were beans, not ground. Luckily I had an old grinder (blade not burr, sorry coffee aficionados) . The beans smell amazing when you open the bag, they grind nicely to espresso grind and to my heathen tastes, produce a decent espresso. Not too acidic, nice slightly woody aroma, OK crema.

Great Coffee but Prefer Milder Roast

Received these to review. We have normally found Lavazza to be easy to grind and make a really great cup of coffee. Full of flavour and not too acidic. Unfortunately our bean machine was broken so shared with parents for a review. They said: We used to use quite dark-roasted beans in the past, but a couple of years ago decided that medium roast suited our palates better, so that is what we normally use in our bean-to-cup coffee maker. Therefore we find that the Lavazza Espresso is a slightly darker roast than we prefer, and is at its best when the coffee maker is set for demi-tasse. It is good coffee, but not ideal for our preferences.

Lovely full-bodied taste with a hint of chocolate

I bought these Lavazza espresso barista intenso beans to use in my bean-to-cup machine as we are keen coffee fans in our house. The beans produced a lovely, full-bodied coffee with a good crema. The coffee has a lovely aroma and the taste has a hint of chocolate. The beans are a combination of Robusta and Arabica, and are well blended and roasted to give just the right balance. The large 1kg bag provides good value, and I’m pleased I opted to try it. I’m looking forward to trying this coffee in an Espresso Martini!

Perfect when you need extra va va voom

The smell that hits you as you open the bag is incredible, strong and lovely. It gave me high expectations for what was to come. It quickly ground down and turned into a powerful rich tasting coffee drink but not overpowering. Lovely rich tasting coffee ideal for espresso, smooth and not at all bitter with a good crema. Considering the quality the value for money is great.
