I have a collection of backpacks. I don’t know why I buy a new backpack each time I travel. But this one is worth its price. I packed so many things in different size and shape in this bag without worrying about the turtle shell / zipper. Fits right underneath the airline seats. Easy to open and access. Think there should be a 2.0. More outer pocket and deeper pocket. Easier to slide wallet / phone / passport. Straps can be more comfortable. Can also add more paddings in laptop slot. Good!

Backpack was made for movement…..not exactly

Not understanding the love for this backpack. Great look….love the look. Not functional for what it’s supposed to be designed for. You can NOT fit a water bottle successfully unless it’s thin 24oz that takes 5 minutes to maneuver into the small pocket. Water bottle compartment is a BIG must work for my definition of a good backpack. Stitching has come lose and don’t get a small spot on the bag because you can not get it out. Very disappointing quality for bag description and money.

Best work backpack I have ever used!

So I was on the fence about buying this bag because of the price. Trust me when I say that it’s worth every penny! has a separate compartment that fits a 16 inch laptop perfectly (this is the usual size or smaller for a work laptop btw) the zipper and pouch is kinda hidden #safety. massive space for anything you need to bring along w/ small pouch insideseparate large compartment for anything that you need but may wanna keep separate from the main compartment. 2 water bottle holders w/ pouches!

Did not like the quality
21 September 2024

I sent this one back and purchased the 22L heavier canvas Double Zip pack. This Wunderlust backpack felt a bit flimsy and I was worried it would not hold up on more strenuous hikes. My 1 liter Lululemon water bottles didn’t fit in the side zippered pockets! My peloton bottles fit but those are much smaller. Not enough interior zippered pockets. Did not like the material. It felt too thin. My 1L water bottles did fit in the side pockets of the 22L Double zip pack which also has lots of pockets!

Large in capacity, perfect for gym or travel
9 June 2024

Have been using the city adventure backpack for gym. This wanderlust is to replace the city adventure. Love this backpack for its huge capacity, a lot more larger than city adventure. The side pockets are so huge I can put my Stokke coffee mug in one side and Stanley bottle on the other side. Quality is bag feels hardy and slightly water repellent. What I miss though is an accessible side slit for mobile phone and keys like the city adventurer.

Perfect bag for all day gym and work
1 May 2023

Bag that met my needs for work and gym. It fits multiple laptops and accessories like headphones, notebook and mouse for work, lunch, trainers, water bottle, change of clothes and wash bag with toiletries and big hair brush. Ends up being a very heavy bag! I looked at a lot of other similar bags, cheaper and same price range, they didn’t have the number of compartments, or an external laptop compartment - I don’t want to pull out dirty gym kit when I’m getting my laptop out in front of clients. Loads of space and unstructured so don’t have to carefully pack stuff in to do it up.Cons: if it’s a no gym or a no work day, it’s basically a sack and unstructured, won’t sit on your lap or floor. The side compartments only just fit a Back To Life 24oz bottle which seems unconsidered and yes makes the zip pockets unusable. The valuables zip compartment is behind the drawstring, so you undo buckles, undo drawstring to get to valuables, all the other zip pockets are on the outside so susceptible to pickpocketing. They could have done one on the underside of the flap with the buckles for keys, Oyster card and wallet. Straps are too long for it to sit tight to your back so not so great for your back posture, I pull the straps out whilst walking to keep it high on my back. Ok when not much in it and easy to take on and off.

So uncomfortable
23 April 2024

I wanted to love this backpack. Purchased it before field trip as a chaperone with my daughter and 3 other classmates to carry their lunches and water bottles. I loved it and purchased it for the simple fact it could accommodate all that and my 32oz stainless steel water bottle in the side pockets. I was in literal pain with bruises on my shoulders and pectoral muscles from the straps. Was consistently adjusting them just to find relief. Had to return. Sad day.

Wanted to love it, just shy of awesome
5 January 2024

On paper, this is great, and in a lot of ways it is.Huge amount of space. I successfully packed two adults, a 5 year old, and an infant for an impromptu overnight trip in this backpack (including chargers, diapers, etc). Plenty of pockets to keep the small stuff organized. Some annoyances though are that the two slip pockets don’t stretch, so they’re not functional to hold water bottles when the bag is very full, or if the bottles are on the larger side. I would have happily traded the zipper pockets on these for these to be able to used as more functional stuff pockets.

overall, not bad
24 October 2023

I’m 5’2 and of petite build.Big backpack but not overwhelmingly huge. Shoulder straps don’t offer much grip. They’ll slip off if you have a big upper body. It would’ve been better if there was a chest strap.I do think this backpack is made for traveling, not everyday use. Not many pockets. I’m a nursing student w many things, so the big, empty space is perfect. Must rely on bag organizers for little things. Not in love w computer sleeve on side.Overall, good bag. Just know ur use for it.
