If you want to try out badminton, at the very least you will need to buy decent shuttlecocks otherwise you will get frustrated and put off the game very quickly. If you are buying it for a bit of fun down the beach, its passable. The quality is actually quite poor. The net does tear very easily. The plastic string is not easy to tie and can easily cut you. I could go on but to sum up, spend a little more and get something you look forward to setting up and using more than once

Bought the set in Reading and to be honest I won't shop in that store again as the lady on the till was beyond rude!! The next day we went to set up and the shuttlecocks were missing. Rang my local branch in Basingstoke who were amazing and had some ready and waiting for me to pick up.Overall the set does what it should, a garden game for fun so worth the money paid. Would have given 5 stars had all the items been in the set to start.

If you want to try out badminton, at the very least you will need to buy decent shuttlecocks otherwise you will get frustrated and put off the game very quickly. My daughter loves badminton, got her some sessions - these long handles are ideal If you want to be a great player. No complaints and I love how the whole kit was not basic but very professional Would highly recommend
Given the price I didnt expect much, I was pleasantly surprised though. No, its not professional quality but Im not paying for that. I was super pleased
Our only recommendation for this product is that you include instruction on how to put up the net. Yes we have worked it out but, just by adding a few simple instructions or even a picture of the net when completed would be beneficial. On the whole we are happy but just feel I needed to let you know.
This set is extremely good value for money and great fun - a game that anyone can play, and great for families with different aged children and abilities. It’s impossible to ‘smash’ a shuttlecock so small kids can’t get hurt. It is very flimsy quality - the design is essentially an exact copy of a more expensive version from a different online games company, but the poles, net, and ropes are clearly much, much cheaper. The other product is around £70 - if you have the money, spend it, if not, £18 gets you a brilliant fun game. It will last 2 seasons maybe, I guess. The poles and pegs won’t cope with being put up and taken down multiple times - the metal of mine was bending slightly when being hit with a wooden mallet into the ground. Its ok for a knock about but racket strings are not very tight and the shuttlecock doesn't go very far, probably that's good for kids as they less likely to lose it. Its far from professional though.
I bought this for a trip to France and was very disappointed. The racket handles fell apart immediately, the net is at least twice the width required and the support poles may as well not be there as they are very flimsy. It's worrying when the best thing about the product is the bag. Fortunately it was cheap - you get what you pay for. My advice - spend a little more an get something at least fit for purpose.
Super badminton set for the very reasonable price. Bought as a gift for my nephew and nieces. Im sure theyll have great fun playing with it during the summer holidays
