Mac Fix+ Magic Radiance Setting Spray 100ml

I have used MAC's Fix+ as a priming and setting spray for years, so I was thrilled when they sent me the Fix+ Magic Radiance spray to test in exchange for my honest opinion. I'm in my mid-thirties and need a setting spray to get good hold throughout the day, but as I get older my skin has become much drier. At first I wasn't sure how the Magic Radiance spray would fit into my makeup routine, so I used it before applying color cosmetics, between steps (foundation, concealer), and after powder to make everything dewy and cohesive. I noticed a remarkable difference in how glowy my complexion looked, and I was really impressed that things creased less and felt less dry throughout the day. I would suggest using this to melt in the layers of your complexion products to get a glowy base, especially if you also have dry skin. I'll definitely be repurchasing this product once it runs out!

As expected, I absolutely loved this new Fix+ Magic Radiance spray. It leaves such a gorgeous, hydrated and radiant finish to the skin without looking oily. I've tried other "dewy" setting sprays and have yet to find something that not only works with holding my makeup but also provides that beautiful finish that we all long for. Low and behold...I have found it! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a holy grail setting spray. If you're on the very "oily" side, it may not be suitable, however, I have combination skin, especially in the summer, and normal skin during cooler months and it works great for me!

It isn't terribly strong, but it smells like old dusty flowers. The mist isn't as fine as it is for other setting sprays I've used, but it is definitely acceptable. I haven't experienced the nozzle clogging and the application has been even every time I've used it -- no issues with tons of product being applied to one area of the face and less product being applied to other areas.When used alone, this setting spray doesn't make my skin feel any more hydrated or moisturized than normal, and I still need to use a moisturizer. It helps to prevent makeup transferring from my face onto my clothes, cell phone, etc. Even after spending 90 minutes mowing my lawn and being sweaty, my makeup still didn't transfer when I blotted my face with a paper towel. That experience alone is enough for me to be highly satisfied with this setting spray, and I will continue to use it, even though I don't like the way it smells.
