Mac in A Sac Polar 2 Jacket Black XL Man

This jacket is a good mid-layer for motorcyclists; it is relatively light, packs to a small size, has a short “tail” that ensures the lower back is covered when riding, and provides good warmth if worn under a wind-proof or waterproof outer layer.

First impressions regarding the quality of the product were very good and this was borne out on subsequent wearing.First class product along with excellent service make for a good experience.

Awesome Lightweight Jacket!

I love this jacket! It's warm but lightweight. Comes in a sack to make it packable too. The fact that it's reversible is very cool. I'm an avid backpacker, so having a lightweight warm jacket is crucial! It's water repellent and has zipped pockets. Excellent jacket! I highly recommend it!

Brilliant Mid Layer

Bought this to wear over a base layer as a mid layer for motorcycling. Works great. Light and brilliant either on or off bike. Note sizing is for body fit. I’m 6 ft slim with 42 in chest and bought large. Fits perfect. If you want to wear this as an outer jacket with more underneath then you would probably have to go up one size than normal. Very happy with purchase.

I originally bought the Large for my husband (42” chest / 32” waist) and it was too big. I returned it and received my refund in days…well done Mac in a Sac! I reordered the jacket in Medium for him and it fits like a glove. Great service and great jacket.

Great thermal motorcycle under layer…

I bought the Polar jacket as a thermal under layer to wear under my mesh style jacket on my motorcycle. The Polar jacket is thin enough to do this easily but still provides great thermal quality at the same time. Another factor for purchasing the Polar was the fact that it can be compressed into its bag for easy carriage when not required. Definitely worth the money compared to other offerings out there, some of which are three times the price but don’t do a better job. The added bonus is the jacket is reversible too, so you have two colours instead of one!

Jacket testing

Up in Skye for a week and testing my neon orange mac and polar jackets.Performing great. Been waring the polar with just a t-shirt and waterproof over top. Not sweaty at all and waterproof.I got L in both. The polar is perfect fit and the mac has enough room to go over the top. I'm broad shouldered and not slim but great fit.

Perfect garment

A converted user as this is my second one, it is the most versatile garment you can have apart from being fully waterproof, it’s light, warm, wind proof so ideal for breezy summer days and cold days. An all year round garment 👍🏻
