I bought this years ago and used it once and totally forgot I even had it until I moved. I’ve been recently contemplating primers as I have larger pores around my nose and over this particular summer, my skin decided to become oily so my foundation wasn’t lasting at all. This is truly AMAZING. Completely blurred my pores and my skin looked dewy without being oily. My makeup stayed on beautifully for 8 hours, even serum foundations. This is really great if you are going through a peeling phase as it smooths out uneven texture. It’s also very thin, and I love that! You can’t feel it at all. I will definitely be buying this again. I skipped the moisturizer and just put my antioxidant serum underneath. I like the way it improves the lay down of your foundation, the primer smoothes out your skin, and therefore creates a nice smooth skin texture to lay your foundation on. In regards to redness and skin tone, I haven't noticed any improvements in skin tone , but It does masque the appearance of small patches of redness. When your swatch it on your hand, it like it has , what looks like tiny diamonds or glitter in it, but it doesn't ..but the formula makes your look radiant and glam 💎. This is by far the BEST primer I've ever tried. Not only does it make my foundation go on smooth, evenly and well blended, but I use so much less foundation. I literally use a fraction of what I did before using this primer. As an added bonus my skin is softer and smoother. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

This thing is really truly amazing!!I was looking for a primer but didn't want to go for something too matte - I have oily skin but primers with silicons and pore-refining crap tends to make it even more oily, and I also don't like how they feel when I touch my face - like the leave a silicon residue on my hand when I touch my face or something... I am also trying to use primers from the same companies of my foundations, as I've heard that they normally work better this way, and as my absolute favourite is Mac's Pro Longwear, I went straight to Mac. Nope, it doesn't really smooth pores etc, but it doesn't claim to do that anyway. It does exactly what it says, keeps your makeup on all day. My face doesn't look oily, but then again I think this is more down to the combination of this primer and the Pro Longwer than the primer itself - I've used it with Mac's Mineralise Moisture and didn't really prevent oil from coming out towards the end of my day. I noticed at some point, weeks after I had first used it, that it leave some kind of sparkles on my hand after I apply it, but not sure where the sparkles go, because it's not sparkly on my face!Another trick I am doing with it is mixing it with the Pro Longwear foundation when I want less coverage - it makes the foundation look like a tinted moisturiser or something, and gives a really nice glow, I absolutely love using it this way, especially during weekends and 'no makeup days'. This is now my little hero, and will be definitely getting a new one when I run out of it.I have to say that I haven't tried it with foundations from other companies, but then I would probably not really bother - I would get a primer from the company where the foundation is from if you ask me...

Dewy Glow

I love this product! I have repurchased it time and time again. I have fairly dry skin and I find this helps me achieve a dewy look. I apply it with my beauty blender and spray MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ over the top as a base for my foundation. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s a little more expensive than I would like for a primer.

Disappointed

I was excited to try this product because I needed something to help moisturize & hydrate my dry skin. But this product made my makeup look greasy & shiny. Even after washing everything off I wasn't happy with how my face felt. I used it for a week to fully try it out & now my face just feels greasy. Also, it goes on like a lotion not a setting "spray." Overall, I'm Very disappointed because I love the other setting spray from Mac. I'll be switching back to that one.

Gentle and nourishing and awesome results

Never thought I'd use a "primer." Didn't even know that was a thing for a really long time.Well? I do not wear a lot of makeup. But I use this daily along with my moisturizer and I've found, I look "polished." It has a lovely quality that makes you look refreshed, when you're not feeling it.

Have been using this for years, holy grail product! I struggle with dermatitis and just generally dry skin. The usual flakiness that appears throughout the day from foundation application is Vernon existing! Leaves your skin feeling so smooth and soft definitely a must try for the dry skin/ eczema girlies!

Prep + Prime Moisture Infusion

Love it ! Glides on nicely leaving a cool fresh feeling as my skin takes in moisture instantly.After a week of applying 2-3 pumps each day, I received complaints on my improved skin tone (with out make up)Dosent clog pores + non greasy finish, after switching to Prep+Prime Moisture Infusion as a daily moisturiser, I found my skin broke out incredibly less often then what I've previously experienced with other brand moisturiser products.Also helps avoid foundation build up in fine lines.I will be buying again and again.

At this point, I have spent so much money on so many different primers for my oily skin and didn't find anything that gave me the results I wanted. I decided to give this one a try a while back ONLY because it was a beauty steal so at least I wouldn't be spending a lot of money again. Since then, I haven't used anything else. It does look very shimmery, which intimidated me at first because my face is already shiny, but it was very subtle on the skin and hardly noticeable once you put your foundation on. My foundation applies smooth and stays on all day and my face doesn't get super oily. If I don't set with powder then it does get a little oily by the end of the day but nothing compared to how it would be without it.
