This also doesn’t break me out because it’s light weight and not caky. The color selection is awesome too, there are so many options to pick from. This is a favorite of many people for a reason..it’s been around for so long because it truly works. What else? It also blurs the skin and looks clean. Skin looks smoother and refined. It lasts all day for me, and does not transfer. If you need high coverage, you may not love this only because if you use a lot it could look caky, but for those who need light to medium coverage it works amazingly well. One of these days I will try a new powder foundation but I keep going back to this because it just works! I also love the packaging. It’s mess-free and travel friendly.

No joke my favorite powder foundation I have ever used and has been for what is now going on about 23-25 years!! Wow that’s crazy to say when I think about it lol. But it’s true! I have been using it faithfully since I was 13 and in 8th grade. I am now almost 34 years old and it’s still just as great as the first time I used it! It goes on so flawlessly and works so nicely with other products. The formula blends great with other products and primers and foundations as well as highlighters and blushes. Weather it’s MAC brand or other it works well with all! I highly highly recommend anyone in the market looking for an amazing powder foundation to definitely grab this amazing little number up. It is worth every single penny I promise you won’t regret it!!!!

Since Covid19 stopped me from using makeup like I use to--- I thought I would just use some powder type foundations. I figured this would work well since my friend has used it for what seems like forever a day and its always served her well. Well-- not for me. The coverage with this is great. But thats where it ends. It feels sort of heavy and cake-y on my face. It also breaks my face out something awful the next day!! Like....WTH?!!! Disappointed! For many yrs I used the Studio Fix c40 and WAS perfect. It was so perfect that no one even noticed I was actually wearing makeup (no even a makeup artist) since they change to Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation have been a huge disappointment. 1. C40 for the Studio Fix powder plus foundation is darker to the C40 Studio Fix 2. The Studio Fix felt like skin. No break ups and skin looked perfect. On the other hand the Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation leave my skin all greasy and with a weird look Since the Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is now darker, I found the C35 "better" match with my skin, however it is lighter than used to be the Studio Fix C40 and leave my face greasy. Finally! Love this for my fair skin!!

I purchased the shade NC10 (I am very fair skinned and always have trouble finding a shade to match my skin tone) and it was perfect!!! I have found that you get more coverage using the sponge that comes with it. And honestly, I was surprised at how much coverage it gives! My routine is to use the sponge that comes in the packaging first for the most coverage and then go over with a big fluffy brush. It smooths things out and gives a little extra coverage. This looks beautiful on my dry skin and lasts all day long. I was hesitant to buy this because usually powders don't do well with my dry skin. However, it looks really great!! (I use a primer before applying too) Definitely recommend! While not cheap, also reasonably priced I feel, and think it would last a while!

Great Product Need more Olive undertones

This is a great powder foundation formula compared to other competitors. This powder controls my oil well, long lasting and looks natural while provide medium- full coverage , I don't have much to cover. My hair boy issue is that Mac does provide enough golden olive undertones for people with medium deep skin and darker. I was original matched to C7 which is too pink/red, the depth is good but the undertone is wrong. C8 undertone is perfect but I need the depth of the color to be a little lighter. MAC can you please make color that matches me! I am have warm golden medium -deep skin with a olive undertone. I can make C8 only work if I use a mattifying primer only. If you want to hide redness or uneven skintones, this does the job. As with any powder or matte finish makeup, you have to be careful around fine lines and wrinkles. Too much application, and it will make them stand out. I use a primer and setting spray, and this lasts most of the day with possibly a touch up here and there if I'm having a more active day. My skin is combination, my nose especially can get oily. Blotting every once in awhile helps. It will get patchy under the nose pads of my glasses and sunglasses, although I imagine that any foundation would do that. It's quick and easy to blend, even for a foundation beginner like me. The shade is so close to my natural skin tone that I don't have to worry about it looking weird next to my hairline/in front of my ears, on my neck, etc. I get the best results using a kabuki brush and both priming and finishing with Fix+. I don't find that I need setting powder over top, even though my cheeks can be quite oily. It's also easy to customize the coverage. I usually mix my studio fix fluid NC45 with a lighter one for the right shade match so I opted to go with NC 44.5 for the powder. Not only did the shade match wonderfully with my skin tone, better than anything has probably matched me w/o mixing several foundations, but it only took a few dabs to fully cover my most problematic dark spots. It was so natural looking and simple to apply that I was in shock the whole week I tested it out! There was minimal transfer as well. This was a huge deal for me! I have dry skin so I wear a good moisturizer before application and spray my face with a setting spray afterwards. I barely even need to color correct! I couldn't wait to tell my mom and have her try it! Honestly, I never thought anything could shine as bright as my studio fix fluid, but now this foundation is right up there. For me, this wasn't just a magnificent foundation but a life changing one considering how much my skin issues concerned me. Do yourself a favor and just try it. I don't know anyone with worse skin than my own and if this worked for me, I bet it would do the same for you! Okay, wiping my tears now 🙂
