The color of this is divine. It's like velvet teddy but way more suitable for medium skin tones, it's this gorgeous pinky nude. The formula of this lustreglass is also 10/10. It is not sticky or tacky looking, it's very smooth and has the most subtle gorgeous hydrating shine. The best part is that is lasts for hours and does not just fade off lips. Mac, please keep this shade Hug Me forever. It is the best one from the entire brand.

It's a beautiful nude lipstick. It suits very natural on my daughter's lips. Love this shade. It's very smooth and hydrating. Not looking flaky like other brands. Wear offs a little after eating food. May be lip liner might help. Have to try it with lip liner. Anyways, I love this all by itself. Looks so beautiful on me.

I have the original hug me shade and the reformulated one looks nothing like the original. I went in store to purchase the lipstick but the new one is more orange. The original shade was more brown/nude and looked good with out a lipliner which is hard to find for a medium skin tone. I tried to find something similar in store but there was nothing. Another customer also was also there when I was who wanted the same shade but also did not like the fact that it was not the same. When I swatched it as well it was more glossy and less pigmented than the original. The original lustre finish was much better.

I was #Gifted this product from MAC for being in their loyalty program (MAC Lover) in the obsessed tier. I absolutely love this shade as I love nude lipsticks. I recommend using MAC's lip primer with this product as it will allow the product to stay on longer. It gives a beautiful shine and adds moisture to your lips. I say that this color is universal and will compliment many different skin tones. I happen to use C6 in MAC's studio fix powder powder and I am the shade dark in their mineralize skinfinish powder. If you are considering if your going to purchase this product I say go ahead and do so you will love it. Especially in this shade.
Please MAC keep this lipstick color forever. This is the only nude lipstick that looks incredible on me. I have used this color for years. I went to a store in person a few months ago and an employee said that you were discontinuing this color. I don't believe her and I truly hope this is not true. She offered me creme in my coffee, but that color is just too dark and was a miss. I am grateful I was able to purchase it online this week. PLEASE KEEP THIS COLOR. My complexion is olive, yellow dark tan and literally this color looks the best on my skin tone.
The new Lustreglass reformulation is one of my favourite shiny, hydrating formulas currently. It seems to melt onto your lips as you apply it, but then doesn't slip around. Depending on the shade, there's a surprising amount of pigment, although these are of course not as long-lasting as a more matte formula. Hug Me is my most-worn shade this year, it goes with everything and is very flattering on me (NC15).
I usually prefer lip gloss to lipstick as I find it more hydrating as my lips are usually on the dry side. However, when I saw that this offered several benefits I figured why not give it a go? Well I have to say I'm glad I did! Not only does the color look amazing on me and is perfect for spring (I got several compliments on my zoom calls!), it is the most hydrating lip product I have ever used. I will definitely make this a staple in my makeup bag. MAC please make this a permanent item! MAC definitely wins in terms of lipsticks and this is a true testament to that.
I am a fair-skinned lady with muted pink natural lip color. This shade is a hit for a summer look! While these colors can blend, they provide a colorful punch which hides my lip discoloration (I had a split lip which left me with a portion that is darker than my natural lip) without feeling heavy or needing significant building to cover. This a great spring, summer color that adds that pop of 'flush' to the lips (or even the cheeks if you're going for a monochromatic look!) that looks natural if blended or juicy if given a single swipe. I'm obsessed over the new oils in the formula (I had the old version of this shade too), and I'm loving this revamp.

Beautiful shade range and would work for those like me, who like the minimalistic look and not worry about the lip colour standing out despite applying without toning down.Product has a balmy feel to it- more like a pigmented lip balm. The colour does not last more than 45 mins. Personally, does nit feel worth the bucks.2 stars for the shade range.
