Mack's Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs 3 Pair

One of the primary reasons I opted for these earplugs was to minimize the sound of cars passing by and, more importantly, to reduce the disturbance caused by my husband's snoring. I must say, these earplugs exceeded my expectations on both counts. The snug fit ensures a secure seal, effectively blocking out external noise, including the rumble of passing vehicles. Even more impressively, I can barely hear my husband's snoring while wearing them, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.

I use earplugs to sleep every night, and have been through many brands. When I first started wearing them, I could only use them for a couple nights in a row because the ones I was using were causing such insane soreness in my ear canal and was making me overproduce ear wax… it was unbearable, but I need silence to sleep. Recommend these for people who have sensitive ears, small ear canals, or just literally anyone who needs earplugs, especially if you’re sleeping with them in.

I usually used to use these earplugs for sleeping as they are soo comfy when your on your side or back. They used to reduced alot of noise to the point that you can hear your heat beating. But since they changed the formula for them they are pretty much useless in terms of noise reduction and less comfy as they added this mysterious white powder to it, making your ears itchy. If you look on the image (they been in cut in half), the old version (left) had more tiny bubbles compare to the new version (right) which had bigger ones. The smaller the bubbles the more noise reduction. So in conclusion i can't recommend them for sleeping anymore until they bring back the old version which is far superior than the new version.

These earplugs do not block all sound, but are very good for situations when you need to dampen it but still hear what it going on, for example when practicing in the high register on a musical instrument, or if you are at a very loud concert and don't want to have stabbing ear pain afterwards. I have also used them at gym classes where the music is played at maximum volume. They stay in place and are comfortable. Just take care to partially deflate them before removal to prevent damage to the ears.

Comfortable and quiet

These are my favorite plugs for sleeping, shooting, and other loud situations. Very comfortable to wear all night. Follow the instructions: roll between the fingers to compress these, gently insert, and allow them to expand to fill the ear canal. Don't try to shove them in too deep, although tweezers can retrieve them without pain. I find I can wear these several nights to perhaps a week before they start getting oily.

I am not impressed!

I was hoping that these Earplugs would block out the squeaking, my exercise chair makes but they don't!I used 3 %26 1 oil, that didn't work! (see picture)So I sprayed WD-40 on the moving parts, that didn't work either!So I sprayed Silicone on the moving parts and that didn't stop the squeaks either!So I bought these Mack's Earplugs, and I was really hoping that these would finally bring some Peace %26 Quiet to my ears while doing 400 sit-ups, but they have failed to do the trick too! :-(So the search goes on to try and find something to stop the squeaking, besides throwing the chair out the window! ~LOL~

Texture has changed!

These used to be barrel shaped and a light pliable foam. Now they're plastic, bullet shaped, and sort if stick in your ear....a bit uncomfortable. its very hard to find something that doesn't have that plastic feel. All foam is not the same! They do work, but not sure the discomfort is worth it.

Very quiet

These are the quietest earplugs I’ve ever used. They have a noise reduction rating of 33dB, which is heaps. I can’t hear my room fan (large Vornado), my wife up early in the morning or much anything else. In fact, recently one morning my wife left her keys when she went out for an early morning run, and I didn’t hear the intercom nor my phone beside me, until our cat woke me up my nuzzling my face.They plugs are very soft, though my one criticism is I do get a slight discomfort upon waking, like a super mild chafe, but that’s the only time I notice it and otherwise it doesn’t bother me.If you need very effective noise reduction, get these.
