Thie sound bar exceeded my expectations. i placed this in front of my computer monitor and is honestly produces a cleaner sound than my previous computer speaker set-up. I wholeheartedly recommend this sound bar for anyone whose limited on space but appreciates good audio coming from their computer.

First, as an experiment, I plugged it into our TV. Worked fine, except for the need for a remote to control the volume. Then to my computer where I had two small speakers on my desk and a subwoofer below that had to be hooked up and volume up to provide sound to the two small speakers. It was too much bass and overall the sound was mushy. The Mackie PC Soundbar is just right!

I struggled between four and five stars on this soundbar. I settled on 5 because it works well for light working music and web conferences, and fits *really* well in the space below my monitors. But it does have a few annoyances and limitations. The size and fit worked really well for my home office desk. I was strongly considering the Mackie CR2-X Bar PRO, but the CR SteathBar fit my space better just due to the feet on the soundbar: The StealthBar came with two feet options with different heights. The pair of feet with more clearance allowed me to place the speaker bar right above the monitor base. Awesome.Sound quality I am mixed on. Anything in the vocal range is actually quite good. I always planned to use my headphones when I really want music and this isn't going to change that. The USB connectivity works well from my Windows PC. However, in USB mode when the speaker is first turned on but before the PC plays any sound, there is a noticeable white noise. It goes away once sound is played and does not return until the next power cycle. It's a minor issue, but is there.Others have complained about the voice notifications (e.g. Power On) being overly loud. Yes, they are. But the level is more of a mild annoyance than an issue. Louder than anything else I will play on the speaker, but not 'cover your ears' loud.Of course I could have spent more money on something larger that would have had better sound quality, but that wasn't really my goal. For what I need, these work quite well.

Perfect for 5.1 audio speakers in one and sits nicely anywhere. Cant really project sound for a home studio setup but perfect for no headphone gaming.
Does the job but try's to continuously connect to Bluetooth Vocally until you turn it off by pressing a button for 6 seconds. As you have guessed I am using it wired, plugged into a KVM for sound on 4 PC's....Even with the volume maxed, the volume doesn't come near as loud as the Voice blaring out when the device is turned on.The Loud Audible "ON" and "OFF" voice is many times louder than the Volume Knob settings. I guess one can get used to it, but it is a Startling jolt when in use.Certainly better than a Monitor Speaker but at this price point you can find much better sound on a Wired/BT computer speakers.
My $30 speaker set sounds far better than this thing. Don't waste your money.
I initially order this sound bar as a used item via a different vendor thinking that I could get an open box deal. Set the soundbar up and it worked ok...until I noticed the distortion. The left channel had a bad audio distortion issue. Since I just received the unit and was able to return it that's exactly what I did. I then ordered a second unit, brand new this time. Same issue but in the right speaker. I chatted with Mackie tech support and the person I got mentioned a possible manufacturing defect with the early run and that if I returned the unit and ordered another I should be fine. I decided that was not worth my time or aggravation so I just returned it and moved on with life. Otherwise the speaker did work well. It fit nicely on my desk. The Power On sound when the unit powers on is rather annoying but maybe could be fixed with a firmware update. There is a firmware update out there which I performed on both speakers I received but it didn't seem to do much. I'd consider purchasing again, but after it's been on the market for a while and after Mackie sorts out some QC issues. Anyway, that's my two cents. My only recommendation is if you purchase it in 2022 make sure your vendor has a good return policy, which B&H does.
Great speaker with very clear sound. Need the sub to go with it.
Fits directly over the stand on my BenqPD3200U, USB-C connection means other volume knobs like one on your keyboard can over ride what you have this set too (which is fine considering other devices are normally closer)Sounds nice - nice price - Glad it's on the desk.
