Absolute banger for the money right here. Great capabilities. I use this in corporate meeting breakout rooms with wireless mics, Laptops with Direct Boxes and so on and it is so useful and efficient. The carrying case is perfect for it too. Very happy. The 1/4 inputs work great with a 1/4 to XLR for more XLR inputs balanced and sound just as good as the first 4 XLR inputs. Very happy.

I use all four XLRs for live steams from a small remote set with USB to my laptop for broadcast. Two channels are used for a Shure wireless receiver. One of those channels is for a CVL wireless lavaliere mic. The EQ on the panel results in great voice quality from the CVL. The other receiver channel is a wireless handheld that sounds great with little tweaking. Two channels are used with Shure SM58s. I find that I need more gain with these, but the voice audio quality is not compromised. The Mute buttons on each channel are very handy to mute the moderator and audience mics during a presentation.

This is great for my home semi-pro karaoke setup. I'd been running all of my inputs through my Mac but had been experiencing delay. I have a friend who is a professional karaoke DJ, and this is the board he recommended for me. The on-board effects are nice, and it works marvelously has a "speaker" for my Mac which plays the karaoke tracks. Turns out, I use it all day while I work to play music through the big speakers off of my Mac while I work. Super glad I got this board.

I had bought the Mackie Pro which I should bought from the get go. I love the Mackie Pro I have been playing around with it sometime now. I am no expert but love the ease and the sounds that come out my speakers. Many videos out there to learn how to use the Mackie Pro mixer. I want to thank the associates of Sam Ash for recommending this mixer and no regrets since. My next buy is going at Sam Ash of for a different item but I like the store and it staff. I recommend this item and many, Go visit them in there many locations you won't regret it, tell them I sent you.
Was expecting g a UK power supply but item was shipped as an EU SKU. Expectation was that anything destined for UK would carry the appropriate destination power as per the order policy ex UK. No big deal though as I co ya fed the team and they are on it. Hopefully will get my power supply as I tested out the unit with an adapter and it’s too risky if you are DJing a big venue with a compact setup. Desk is a bit plastic and some of the buttons stuck but I mates to fix them. Man Brexit ain’t doing sh*t. They guys are polite and friendly though so let’s see how it pans out 😆!
The ProFX10v3 is the 3rd version I have owned of these mixers and Mackie has made a lot of improvements and stuffed a huge amount of capability into this compact mixer/audio interface. There are a lot of features here that are not first apparent and allow this little mixer to cover a lot of ground. I wanted a compact mixer that could do both live mixing as well as high quality recording straight into my computer. I could not decide between the ultra compact ProFX6v3 and the PrFX10v3 so, I ordered both to find out.First, both size mixers share a lot of the same features. Both have super high quality recording interfaces built in. 2x4 USB 24Bit/192Khz resolution! And the 2x'4' part is important because, unlike most compact audio interfaces, it means that they can send back (2) stereo sets of audio back from you computer instead of the standard (1) stereo set.The first stereo set is used for multitrack recording into your DAW or even your iPad as both of these mixers are class compliant which means, you don't need drivers to make them work. This first set is sent to the headphones jack where you can use the 'BLEND' knob to mix between the computer and the mixer audio when recording. The second stereo set can be returned to the last channel on both mixers and combined with the mixer audio. This is known as a 'Loopback' feature and allows you to screen record, podcast, and live stream easily and with way more control than with the Focusrite style of interfaces. Both these mixers have the industry standard Onyx microphone preamps that are dead quiet and have very high headroom. This is a big deal if your recording a dynamic vocalist or aggressive acoustic guitar players and you want to avoid clipping the input. But the ProFX10v3 add features that are hard to find on any mixer in this price range.First, it adds (2) channels of onboard compressors, great for vocal recording and they are actually quiet. Then it adds (4) true insert channels that allow you to use your own external effects or even guitar pedals. It adds a 3 band equalizer for even channel on the mixer. It adds an AUX/Monitor send for even channel that can be used when you're not using the onboard FX.It adds mute buttons for even channel that are super handy when streaming or playing live.It adds a footswitch that can control the effects section and it adds a completely separate set of outputs with a dedicated volume knob that can control a separate mix to the mains or monitors for recording. And the ProFX10v3 still fits inside of a backpack.
This is Mackie's 3rd Version of this very popular compact Mixer / Audio Interface. This compact 10 channel Mixer offers 4 pro quality Onyx Mic Preamps, 6 additional Line Level Inputs, 24Bit-192kHz USB recording and 24 killer Effects! It offers true 48 volt Phantom Power for all 4 Mic preamps, a whopping 60dB of input gain, and has a locking DC power connector and a real power switch. It has 4 true insert jacks on the first 4 channel strips that allow you to use your own external effects devices and even guitar pedals! It has two compressors on the first two Mic Pre-amps that really help tame hot vocal performances. Was looking for a compact mixer that was clean and quiet enough to do remote recording as well as podcasting and still work as a live mixer if needed. I was deciding between the profx6v3 vs profx10v3 because of its super compact size. I had to get both to really understand the key differences. The Mackie ProFX10v3 has a lot more capability than it first appears and was a nice surprise when I actually had to use it at a small gig.First, the Onyx Mic preamps sound great. Dead quiet and tons of headroom and if you've ever had to mic a drum set or an aggressive acoustic guitar player at a gig or recording, you'll know what I mean.Next, DI switches allow you to plug your electric guitar or bass straight into the mixer without having to buy a separate DI box and the low ... MoreWas looking for a compact mixer that was clean and quiet enough to do remote recording as well as podcasting and still work as a live mixer if needed. Also, the profx10v3 has true Insert jacks on the the first 4 channels. This is unheard of on a mixer in this price range and allows you to use your own FX or external hardware or even guitar pedals!.The profx10v3 has a 3 band EQ on every channel vs just the high and low shelving on the smaller profx6v3. This is a huge difference for fixing problem levels plus, mutes buttons on every channel. The GigFX engine is the same on all the versions of this board and is super clean and sounds greats for live gigs or even karaoke. The addition of a foot switch to control the effects unit is a must have and I didn't realize it until I actually used it live. The addition of a completely independent set of outputs that have it's own volume control really makes this kind of the Swiss Army knife of mixers. This makes the profx10v3 the perfect sub-mixer with it's own output to the mains or for controlling a pair of studio monitors when recording. The built in 2x4 USB recording interface can record up to a massive 24Bit 192Khz resolution and actually has (2) completely independent stereo return mixes from the computer unlike the normal 2x2 interface of most compact interfaces. This may not seem like a big deal until you actually record with it. If your multi-track recording, you can use the 'BLEND' knob and the (1+2) stereo mix to mix between the computer playback and the audio your recording through the mixer but....If you assign the computer playback to the (3+4) outputs instead, you can then return that computer audio back through the mixer on the last channel and mix it with the rest of mixers audio. This is what's known as a 'Loopback Feature' but gives you way more control than a regular compact interface and it's perfect for live steaming or podcasting. The size of the profx6v3 is tempting but the additional features of the profx10v3 really makes it a monster for both studio recording and live performance.
I bought this to use for home recording and duo gigs. It sounds better than my other audio interfaces. The sounds is much more lively. The unit is well made and feels sturdy like all Mackie mixers. The colored inserts on the knobs make it easy to see what the settings are in dim light. I haven't tried the effects yet so can't comment. Sam Ash had the best selection of in stock mixers. Also, the power adapter was tiny compared to the competitors.
I have a twitch stream where I decided about two years ago to upgrade from my webcam mic to an XLR setup. Had a Mackie Mix-5 as my starter mixer. Did the job, but as I decided to integrate a Zwift bike/treadmil setup into my stream, I now needed two XLR inputs. I bought this to add another XLR mic. Easy to set up and use after my first mixer setup. It looks really professional with my setup and it works great. It also gives me additional inupts if I need to use this for my church congregation's services if necessary.I'm not an expert with this kind of thing, so this is more of a consumer review. There's a lot of great features on this mixer that I'll dive into, but from the surface, this is a great purchase for me.
