The Hemisphere is our ultimate basecamp shelter for four. It's built around a geodesic structure to provide maximum liveable space and stability in high winds, and heavy snow. Its Swift-Pitch design makes for a simple and efficient set up that lets you camp fly-free on warm, dry evenings. Our premium UV30 PU fly is factory seam sealed. It has a waterproof PU coating on the inside and multiple SI coatings on the outer for additional strength against rain, snow, and UV exposure. The durable Torrentwear tub floor provides a waterproof base, and Green anodised DAC Featherlite NSL poles offer lightweight strength and stability. Two enlarged vestibules provide plenty of room for sheltered entry, cooking and gear storage. They're equipped with storm flaps to help keep snow out, and a six-vent system creates airflow and manages condensation — without compromising insulation — on extended trips. A removable mesh roof panel helps control internal temperature and extend the Hemisphere's comfort into the warmer months. Internal pockets ensure organised living. DAC's Green Anodization helps minimise the amount of toxic chemicals used to produce tent poles. Please read the instructions carefully prior to use.

It was bought with adventure in mind. Used it with the family, the 3 year loves it, warm, robust, and great interior, with loads of options for organising kit. Christening it on the west coast of ireland. And in the rain, it was fantastic. Highly recommended for family, remote trekking and high adventure
This is an amazing tent. It not only looks good but it is super strong, has great ventilation and plenty of room.I have used this tent in summer conditions and the multi ventilation system works perfectly. Very little condensation.I have camped at Mt Cook in extreme weather. We woke in the morning after an incredible storm, warm, rested and dry. Our tent was the only tent to survive the night with others being damaged. It is a little heavy for back packing but split among your party it is worth that little bit of extra weight. So many great features. You will not be disappointed.Brett
Great tent. Spacious, well ventilated. I have owned two. On the downside, both were wiped out by winds which I would really have expected the tent to be fine with.
Brilliant tent, easy to put up, plenty of room.Great features and has kept us dry and warm on many occasions.would be nice if Macpac could do an add on cover/fly sheet to make a bigger area at the entrance, for cooking and sitting.
Fantastic tent easy to setup and carry on my bike. Plenty of room for my sleeping and storing my motorcycle gear
Great tent. Holds up well in tough conditions. It would be nice to have snow Skirts all the way around?
I needed a strong, roomy tent for a base camp dwelling in the very windy Falkland Islands and the Hemisphere really delivered. I found it to be an excellent shelter from the frequent gales and foul weather that predominate in the subantarctic and it had plenty of room inside for all my gear. Even though it was difficult to find a space between tussocks that could fully accommodate the tent's footprint, the Hemisphere was still secure in high winds. The insect-proofing was also well tested by the many fleas from nearby penguin nests that tried - and failed - to get at me while I was inside. The only thing stopping me from rating this 5-stars is the set-up of the tent. Although I have a lot of experience setting up a variety of different tents, I found the Hemisphere took a little more thinking to figure out how to properly erect it. It may not have helped that I was doing this solo, but with a little trial and error, it set-up smoothly and, most importantly, securely. This is a small quibble and once you are familiar with this tent it is not an issue. I will rely on the security of the Hempishere as a strong shelter for many more trips to the subantarctic.
