Quality can definitely come in small packages. Wish I had made the jump a long time ago. I would have been kidding myself if I didn't take advantage of this jacket at the sale price. If this jacket ever wears out, a new one will be on the cards asap.

I wanted something that was really warm but wouldn't inhibit my movement/posture or weigh me down.1. It is very cosy and warm.2. While a great jacket, they have changed the storage option to the internal zipped pocket. after doing this once I am afraid that it will break the zip rending the pocket useless. We previous purchased the older Halo jacket which had a separate bag to store the jacket in which is significantly better.
Husband loves it! I bought the womens version for me so bought the mans version for him. He loved the price tag which was on special. He'll now be kept warm and toasty.
Really decent puffer jacket, doesn't puff up as big as Uniqlo so looks better. Runs extremely big. Size down is essential. BCF customer service is subpar. Can't exchange, no local stock. Sent back for return as instructed a week ago, no update. Followed up, no update. Poor customer service.

Of all the jackets that I've owned over the years, the Macpac Hooded Jacket has been the best, because it's light and yet very insulating against the morning chill, the strong winds and heavy rain!!! Good Fit I am usually a Women’s 18 Top. This jacket fits well , I chose the Men’s as they are longer in the Body length . Warm and cosy . The Jacket is taking a while for the filling and outer layer to even out. It comes packed in its own self contained pocket.
Recent purchase. Am very familiar with Macpac gear & this XL Hooded Halo Jacket is right up to their lofty standards. Excellent quality at the right price. I bought in store as I was concerned about picking the right size as I switch between XL & XXL often. The XL fitted perfectly whilst the XXL was surprisingly bulky with a long torso & long sleeves. All I am suggesting is just be careful on the size selection!
