This is my second merino V-neck top and I love them because they’re soft and warm. However, I was disappointed to find a small hole in one sleeve, just above the seam at the wrist, after washing it by hand. This must have been a manufacturing fault as I didn’t catch it on anything and it never happens with any of my other merino. I didn’t want to return it because it would probably have been dumped, which is a waste, so I’ve mended the hole and am now enjoying wearing it.

I bought the next size up, which was suggested on the website. I anticipated wearing it as an overlay but it’s very thin and flimsy. It’s fine as a thermal but too baggy, having bought a larger size. However, it’s still a good product, as are all macpac products.

Worst merino ever. I bought 5 of these and every single one ended up with holes after one to two uses, despite being correctly fitted, worn gently and handwashed. I'm just so disappointed. My son had the 220 merino tops which were brilliant. It's why I trusted and purchased these. Money down the drain. I have $10 thermal tops from Kmart that have lasted longer than these!!! Do not recommend

I love this top, it’s a great length, is very comfortable soft feeling fabric. I have bought a few. It fits nicely under everything else. Is not at all bulky. BUT, it gets holes very easily! and for the price vs how long it lasts…I no longer think it’s worth it. I got the 220 instead, it’s more bulky and itchy for a while but it seems like it will last longer and is in my opinion better value for money than this one.
I have bought a few of these tops over the years as they are really light and warm and nice to wear next to your skin without being scratchy. I wear them to work under my uniform and they keep me warm. I do find that they are really long though and need to be tucked in.
Soft, durable and cosy. I have several of these now and wear them almost daily, as a long tee shirt in spring and autumn, a base layer in winter and as a jumper over a tee shirt on summer evenings. They are soft next to the skin and, remarkably, never smell - even after a weeks camping. Wash them on wool cycle/gentle and they last for years. I’ve tried the other brands (I,K,P) - they don’t match up.Please Macpac- never discontinue these or compromise on the quality of your fine micron merino fibre. And keep bringing out a wide range of colours.
Nice weight for layering in winter or wearing by itself leading up to winter. I bought a size up, so I can wear it by itself. Sleeve and torso length is generous, but not too long. I wash mine in wool wash and have had no issues - they still look good after 12 months of wear
So pleased I bought this. The merino is lovely and soft, not itchy at all. It does a great job providing and insulating warmth. My only quibble is that it's quite long on people with a short torso, and the sleeves end up being a tad long too. It's not a problem, I just turn them up slightly, but I guess the design caters more for the standard size measurements. Would be great to have different sizing for different height etc.
perfect, so good I have 3 of them. Looks good enough to wear our to dinner& easy to dress up, white keeping you warm. Great and warm for hiking and so very comfy. IVe got big boobs and it's a good fit
Nice, soft, thin and warm. Would be nice to have a different neck design, not just V-Neck.Bought it as a present and unfortunately, after picking it up discovered it was likely returned previously and not packed properly into the bag.
