Macro Australian almond Spread 250g

Healthy alternative. I tried the Macro Almond Spread as I love Peanut Butter and thought it would be a much healthier alternative. I do not have nut allergy but I'm always on the lookout for healthier foods. Whilst the Almond Spread is obviously a much healthier product than peanut butter, I didn't find it had much flavour and certainly not salty enough for my liking, even when comparing it to low salt peanut butter. I used it on my toast which I have occasionally with peanut butter, and I would use it again as it wasn't horrible. However, I will try it in cooking, which I think when combined with other ingredients will be satisfactory. Surprisingly nice and I would recommend this product. I was not sure if I would like this as I havent tried it before. I do like peanut butter so I was not sure what to expect with this though. But I did like it. My kids liked it too. So I would recommend it. It was smooth and not gritty. Slightly bland in flavour but you can eat it with other things. Serving suggestions that we have tried include eating it with celery sticks and carrot sticks like a dip. And spreading on toast then putting honey on top.

A great option! This almond spread is a welcome addition to the pantry! I have happily added it to smoothies, baking and other breakfast foods where I would often add peanut butter, with great results. This is definitely a good substitute for peanut butter (or other nut spreads) if you want to cater to certain dietary requirements or preferences. The taste is also very yum, if you like almonds of course! Only ‘cons’ I have are that the spread on the pricier size and due to the size of the jar (and how full it is), mixing the oils and solids together when they have separated is quite difficult when you first use the spread.

Healthy spread alternative. A beautiful almond spread which suits the modern busy lifestyle. It feels good to know that the product is vegan and free from peanuts. Original and rich almond flavour which lingers in mouth. I love the nutty aroma on my toasts which serves a pleasant breakfast. It also goes well with peanut butter or jam and makes it versatile. it is a healthy alternative compared to regular spread. I’m keen to add to my baking and smoothie and also introduce to my little one.

Interesting Spread Alternative. I was quite excited to try this as a different breakfast option to have on toast. Unfortunately it didn't really work for me. The consistency was quite loose and the flavour was quite bland and as such it would not be a go to product that I would buy again. The health factor was great and I could see the product being brilliant for those that really like almonds or are vegan or vegetarian. Because of the flavour profile, I would still go to peanut butter over the almond spread as I find it much more flavoursome.

Healthy spread for toast. I have been wanting to try this product but was deterred by the price. Luckily I received this from Bunch! Compared with another Almond Spread I have, I found the Marco one is more spreadable and has a stronger nutty aroma. While it has not added sugar, it tastes sweet. I spread it on my morning toast and top it with avocados. Healthy breakfast ready to serve! It would be good for making cookies and other baked goods. Could you consider making it a larger jar with a cheaper unit price?

Great in cooking. I'm not a big fan of any type of nut butter on its own or on bread, so I used this in a recipe. I made a rice bubble slice using 200gm dark chocolate, 200gm almond butter, 40gm coconut oil and 100gm rice bubbles. The slice turned out really well and while I was making the slice I tasted the almond butter on its own and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it tasted nice. I still wouldn't eat it on its own or on bread, but only because I find all nut butters too dry and I don't enjoy them. I would definitely use this almond butter in cooking though.

Enjoyed Macro Natural Almond. Macro Almond Spread has a subtle nutty flavour and is rather moreish. Needs to be stirred to mix the top layer of liquid before placing onto bread or other food items. Was in the Spreads aisle, rather than with products in Macro section at Woolworths, Urangan. I suppose this is because it makes it easier to compare with other Almond spreads. The product was healthier than competing almond spreads because Woolworths Macro Almond Spread has a very low saturated fat content.

Natural! Wow! pretty good buy. I've bought pure almond spreads at health food shops and I can tell you now, they aren't cheap. But with the Macro Natural Almond Spread being less than $6 that's a good buy. Love how the natural almond oils accumulate on top, usually I find all natural almond spreads to be too dry, but with the oil, it just makes it so tasty. Love adding this to plain buttered toast, or if you want something a little special, I flatten a croissant, spread the almond spread on top and put it in an airfyer or oven for a few minutes and the smells are just a perfect pick me up first thing in the morning with your morning coffee or even with your afternoon tea with some 'me time'. Highly recommend! Go get your now!

Yummiest Nutty Spread. I love nuts and this spread is just amazing and really yummy. It is very almondy with almond bits on it. It is great for breakfast on toast on it's own or with a jam. It is not sweet so if you have a sweet tooth you can choose yo add honey or jam. It is delicious even on its own. It is definitely a better/healthy option than peanut. This is also a nice spread to add on a celery stick for morning or afternoon tea. The only downside is the price for a small container. Also, it dries out if you already used the oil that seats at the top. But I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
