Macro Cashews Dry Roasted 250g

Crunch and flavour! We usually purchase these Dry Roasted Macro Cashews as they are really delicious and I so my 5 stars is overall for their quality and taste . The only ingredient in this little packet is cashew nuts - no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives - and gluten free. Compared to Macro Natural Cashews, these dry roasted cashews are super crunchy (and have none of that bitter oil taste some oil roasted cashews seem to have). The nuts themselves are entire (not pieces) and quite large. Price wise though they are quite a bit expensive at $8/250gram packet . They are grown in Vietnam and packaged in Australia . The yummiest cashews :). These cashews were absolutely delicious! And Im not ashamed to tell you that the whole pack was definitely eaten within a week (not just by me lol but they could have been if there werent other cashew lovers in the house!)They were the right amount of dry, crunchy and salty cashews. I have had cashews that were too salty and they ruined it so was really pleasantly surprised by these. It really was the perfect combination and they definitely tasted fresh which was great too. I thought they were a good price for the amount that you got and I will definitely be buying them again, though I might have to hide them so they last a little longer. With zero salt and prefectly roasted it ticks all the 'health' buttons. From my perspective though - the difference in cashew nut's richness of flavour needs some salt. As a cashew addict (sad tale!) I had just finished off some lightly salted roasted cashews before I opened this packet. So I had a pretty good comparison going. The size & 'whole' vs split cashews for the Macro packet was very good, probably at least 50% whole if not a little more. Size-wise they seemed slightly bigger than the comparison cashews. Flavour-wise - I ate roughly half the Macro cashews as is, the remainder I poured into the box the previous cashews had been stored in. I had left the residual salt in it just for this test. After a gentle rotate/turn upside down a few times - I let them sit in the box for a day. For my tastes - the now very lightly salted Macro cashews were massively more enjoyable, with the cashew flavour seeming much stronger. Yes, salt can be bad if too much in your diet but equally too little is also bad (especially in summer).

Great taste. So versatile. This was an example that we really looked forward to. Firstly I struggled to find the product as there is a smaller version in the cooking section. Be I was excited to find them in the health food section. These have been a great snack for the whole family. I will grab a handful when feeling a little peckish. These were also a great addition to our cashew nut chicken. They were pre roasted so easy to throw them into the dish later on instead of roasting them myself.

Snack. Came at a great time as I was entertaining yesterday, so put to good use. Great taste and not too salty. Perfectly crunchy, I didn’t taste a bitter nut, which you sometimes find. Went extremely well on grazing platter. They were the first nuts to be eaten, so that was a good sign. Nothing left to do anything else with!Resealable bag is great if there is any left over!Price comparable with other brands so would buy in the future.

Dry Roasted and Salted Cashews... the Best! Beware. These nuts are sooo moreish. Macro Woolworths have done so well with this product. Not too salty, and roasted lightly. I say beware only because who can stop at 100 grams. Now that is 8. 4 grams of saturated fat. On the plus side, they are a great source of protein and gluten-free. Always suitable for vegetarians. I eat them as a snack. I gave half the packet to my grown daughter to share with her boys. She watches closely what she eats and gave a positive response to these as well. 500grams cost $15. That's a fair few cashews. I'd like to see these packaged into smaller amounts around 250 grams for me to buy regularly. You must give these a go next time you are shopping at Woolworths.

Lovely flavour - highly recommend! First of all - this is the hardest product to find! It has taken me weeks! Looked EVERYWHERE!!!! Visited so many stores! And just by chance, by flicking through the stock on the shelves at yet another Woolworths store, I managed to find one sole pack underneath a bunch of other Macro nut stock. I actually really really like the taste of these dry roasted cashews. Firstly, I love cashews but usually salty ones but these are actually delicious. These are expensive - but all cashews are so it's not like it's more expensive than other similar products. Would definitely buy these again - actually, I'll have to, as they're all gone in one sitting, yikes!

Dangerously morish. If you are a cashew person you will find yourself returning to the bag over and over again. Nice and creamy texture Crushed down wonderfully when making Cashew butter. I usually buy bulk from Wholefood stores but have picked these up several times when I have been out and wanted a snack.

Go Nuts over these. Cashews in my household are the one thing that you'd be lucky to get some before they are all eaten. No surprise that when I brought these home, they were taken straight out of the shopping bag. The nuts were super delicious and had the perfect amount of salt on them. They were a big hit with my family and they have already requested another bag. The price of these cashews is very good considering that it is a large portion. They are now essential in my house. I 100% recommend these to anyone.

Just like all macro quality products, these lightly browned, oven-roasted, non-oily cashews, not only have an impressively mild sweetish-not too salty flavour but also a distinctively silky texture and crunch that leaves others for dead. I also found it unusual, that a packet of this size had the majority of nuts still INTACT with the exception of only a few broken pieces in it. They are a good source of PROTEIN and are also GLUTEN free. It was nice to see that these cashews have been wisely packed in a see-through resealable bag in order to view the contents and also to retain freshness.
