Macro Cereal Granules Lecithin 250g

(1 reviews)

Macro Lecithin Granules can be used as a thickener for soups and gravy, or as a substitute for egg yolks in your home cook recipes. You can also combine water, oil, and lecithin granules to make your own mayo and dressings - a little sprinkle goes a long way. Soy Lecithin granules have a natural, slightly nutty taste and aroma. They are a pale, yellow colour with a soft, sticky texture and can be sprinkled over breakfast foods or savoury dishes. They’re a good source of fibre for a happy gut, and contain omega-3 fatty acids.

Healthy addition to cereal. I wasn't familiar with this product so did some research on it. Apparently soy lecithin granules help lower cholesterol and the easiest way to use them is to sprinkle them on your cereal. You can also do a whole bunch of other things with them, apparently, but I thought I would stick to the easy option. I have previously had high cholesterol and already sprinkle psyllium husks on my cereal to help keep my cholesterol level down. I now just add a spoonful of this stuff as well. It's actually quite a pleasant flavour, although adding it to my cereal doesn't seem to have changed the taste of my cereal concoction. Not sure if it is helping me to feel full for longer. In any case, I am hoping using it shows a positive impact in my next ... MoreHealthy addition to cereal. I wasn't familiar with this product so did some research on it. Healthy additive. Wasn't sure what to do with this so did a bit of research first and found a couple of good points on why to use it. Good source of fibreHelps to lower cholesterolHelps with breastfeeding for mothersWell the first two seemed a good idea to me but the third is a little late for me but may be a benefit to you. So I have tried adding a spoonful to my cereal each morning and while I cannot taste it I am hopeful it is helping me. At this time I cannot tell. Time will tell when I have my next cholesterol blood test. I do have a very slight tendency to high cholesterol. Thank you all for reading this review.

Great for you. Never heard of this before so was keen to try, from what I gather it's just great for you, we put it on cereal which made no real difference to me, I searched and got the below explanationHow to Use:Lecithin can be used in breakfast dishes; add 1-2 teaspoons to smoothies or sprinkle over natural yoghurt, fruit salad, muesli, porridge and acai bowls. Good for baking. Lecithin is good for baking. It is a natural preservative and an emulsifier, so it can combine oil and water. Therefore, it can be good for smoothing textures etc. It is also supposed to be very healthy, which is a bonus. I didn't particularly like the taste of it but you only need a very small amount in baking and I didn't notice a difference in taste once in a recipe. Because of the benefits of the product and the fact it lasts a long time due to only needing a small bit, I would purchase the product again. It helped my bread keep softer longer.

Helps lower cholesterol and heaps of health benefits. My experience with lecithin granules is that it is a very convenient way to add them in cereals and oats help lower cholesterol. Further research on the web I found:- Improves heart health, helps improve digestion, soothes and moisturizes skin. These are added incentives to include it in my breakfast! https://www. healthline. com/health/lecithin-benefits- It can be used baked goods to improve doughs and batters and prolong shelf life. I have tried it on my oat muffins and found that it gave a fluffier and softer texture. https://www. livestrong. com/article/500078-how-to-use-lecithin-in-baking/Good product with heaps of benefits! Worth trying out.

Google Lecithin Granules. This was a first for a bunch product. ☺️I had no idea on how to use lecithin granules. So had to use the handy tool named Google. After some research, lecithin granules are considered extremely healthy. It’s a yellow colour, with a nutty aroma and a soft sticky texture. We used the lecithin granules, in breakfast dishes, yoghurts, fruit salads, muesli, porridge and smoothies. Anything that is reasonably healthy. It is also good in baking, bread mix, cakes, muffins etc. The price was reasonable and a good quantity of product. It’s great to try something I never had before.

A nice addition to morning oats. My husband and I add these to our morning overnight oats for that extra boost of health - just a tablespoon full is sufficient. It's a non offensive taste and although the granuals break down slightly, they do not completely dissolve. Priced at $6 for the bag, this has lasted us a good amount of time, so I would suggest it is good value for money. Although not tried myself, I believe you could also add to cereal or a smoothie.

Fancy words to waste your money. I was super excited to receive this sample as I somehow always thought that 'Macro' meant it was healthy however this upon closer examination isn't unfortunately. From the marketing on the front of the packaging I was given the impression that it was going to be full of fibre & full of omega 3 factors. But as your eyes go down on the front of the pack you see the facts with the health star rating of 2. 5 with the saturated fat, sugar & sodium numbers which is off putting. And as you flip it over you then see all the details about the product with saturated fats, trans fats, sodium etc with the little amounts of fibre/omega or good stuff which was advertised on the front of the packet. I used 1 tablespoon of this in my veggie soup which was already good but now has this awful addition in it after I added this. I wouldn't purchase this to waste money on a hyped up product. It stated it thickens up things which I don't think it did & I would rather either add a natural product to thicken or even use a cornflour slurry as both don't have additional sugar/fats & all the nasty stuff in this.. Not impressed with this product & I'd say don't bother wasting your money on this.

Great Product. I like reading other Bunchees' comments and found there doesn't seem to be a lot of knowledge about lecithin. I have used it for many years as a health supplement and really appreciate my Bunch packet. Thank you so much. To any of my fellow Bunchees who don't know what to do with lecithin and who may read this, please have a quick look online. I don't want to fill my review with information that is easily accessible, but lecithin has some significant health benefits for all ages. I'm a big reader of packets and labels to be informed about what I'm buying and love to try products that are new to me; I rely on information on packaging if I don't know what it is or what to do with it. I would have given this a further half star but didn't know how to add the half :) The grandkids could have told me if any of them had been available hahaha. The reason I didn't give five stars is not about the product but that there is very little useful information on the packet. "A little sprinkle" is not much of a guide - I use much more than that. More could be made of the benefits. I almost missed the Omega 3 and fibre notes in tiny script at the top of the packet. Thank you again Bunch for something that is so useful.

Great substitute for eggs. This is a product that I had never heard of before but willing to give it a go especially when I googled and found it could be used as a replacement for eggs. I figured with the world we live in would be great if we get stuck in an isolation and can’t get groceries like eggs. I used it in baking so replaced eggs with granules. Worked well in cakes not much textural differnece once baked and used it as an “egg wash” on pasty and breads. Again it does not dissolve perfectly so had small lumps of granulated on top but it did work. overall an ok product for emergencies or possibly a great product if you have allergies and need a replacement.
