Imported Organic Flour. Found in the flours aisle. Macro Certified Organic Plain Flour - Unbleached. 1kg paper bag, recyclable ♻️. Ingredients - Organic Wheat Flour. Unbleached, no additives. 4 Health Star Rating. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Fine and smooth, triple-sifted. For all baking needs or as a thickener for sauces and everyday cooking. Use in biscuits, cakes , muffins or slices. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. Produced in Italy - Packed in Australia. I used this flour in a slice and it mixed together smoothly and easily. It tasted similar to normal flour to me. $4. 50 for 1kg bag is quite expensive. Would not repurchase because of the price. I appreciate being able to sample this as it is probably something I would not normally buy.

Great Versatile Flour. Found on one of the higher shelves with all the other Flours etc and costing $4. 50 for a 1kg packet. Usual, bit boring, Macro packaging. This product has a high cost than the others due to it being certified organic. It's an Australian Product. Great to use in baking and cooking. I used this flour to make pancakes which I used WW apple sauce in them. They tasted delicious. If you like organic products, I highly recommend and will be letting my sister know as she only uses organic products. I myself won't buy it again simply because I am happy with my usual WW flour. Thanks Bunch for letting my try this product

Unbleached flour is milled with its germ and bran content intact, and than aged naturally by exposing to oxygen after being milled. It has an off-white color, which continues to dull as it ages, and a more dense grain than bleached flour. Unbleached flour also takes longer than bleached flour to produce and because of this, it’s usually more expensive. It can go rancid faster if not stored properly because of the presence of the fat in the germ. For baked goods, the overall basic outcome is the same with either flour. If your budget allows it, buy organic flour to support organic farming and its gentle impact on our environment. Fertilizer and pesticide run-off can pollute groundwater, threatening native wildlife. Organic farming leaves a smaller carbon footprint, and its spread may slow climate change. If you are concerned about ingesting pesticides via regular flour, prefer a healthier flour with its germ and bran intact or if the health of our environment is on your mind as you bake, organic unbleached flour makes sense. The choice is entirely yours.

Same, Same, Same. There was certainly nothing wrong with this Macro Organic Plain Flour but it did not stand out either. I could not tell the difference between this and any other brand I have used. The fact that it is organic is neither here nor there for our household, but I do know it is important to others. I did the following price comparison and there is a considerable difference:Woolworths Essentials brand - $1. 40 per kg White Wings - $3. 00 per kgThe Healthy Baker - $3. 25 per kgMacro Organic = $4. 50 per kgMade from organic milled wheat flour and you need to "Refer to the Country of Origin labelling on the packaging". Thank you Bunch and Woolworths for the opportunity to sample this product.

Same but different. This sample came at a great time for Christmas baking and I almost felt guilty using a certified organic product in the sweet treats I was making, it sort of seemed hypocritical. But anyhow, this macro flour worked just as well as my regular plain flour (usually Woolworths Essential Plain Flour)As both products have a 4 HSR I decided to compare them..... were there any differences apart from one being certified organic? The answer is yes. On the nutrition information panel the quantity per serving amounts were different. The macro showed 50g as the serving size whereas the Essentials showed 250g ie 5 times greater which also affected the %DI*Per Serving which is weird to say the least. Why do this? Luckily both showed the nutrition per 100g which ... MoreSame but different. Luckily both showed the nutrition per 100g which reflects a better comparison. Though the differences are minimal, the Macro Organic has more kJ/calories per 100g, more total fat, more sugar & carbs and more sodium (salt). The Macro Organic also contains less fibre than the Essentials. I no longer feel hypocritical using in the sweet treats. The Macro Organic package states Australian Plain Flour & Product of Australia (hooray) whereas the Essentials packaging (on the Bunch site) only mentions 'Packed for Woolwoths', not where the ingredient originates or where it is packed. I think I will stick with the Essentials flour ( cheaper) and if its ingredient is Australian, then Woolies, please state it on the product or give a clearer indication of where it is from.

Organic Baking. This Australian, unbleached organic milled wheat flour is a good product for baking. I use this organic flour regularly. This is due to having a household of men, who are always on a health kick and into healthy alternatives It helps that it is Australian certified organic, good for vegans etc and has a 4 ⭐️ health rating. I find my baking results are good with this product, as the men in the house eat the food without complaining. I am happy to pay the price for good results. Good product, with good cooking results. Has the added bonus of good health benefits and allows one to enjoy baking delights.

Seems better than just normal plain flour. This flour is technically probably a bit low in the protein % department for bread making but the 1kg pack was the perfect amount that I needed to make sourdough. I'm still learning as I haven't done it for a few yeasrs so this is only my second attempt since making a new starter. Needless to say I think the bread turned out good, definitely tasty and the crumb was soft and moist. I'm don't always buy organic because I find standard products are just as good and cheaper but this had a feel of quality to it for some reason. I probably would buy it again, if it can make a decent bread I imagine it would be even better for cakes and everything else that it's meant to be used for. I like the fact that it's unbleached.

No difference, just quality flour. In the baking aisle with the same blue colouring as other plain flour packs. Well sealed at the top flap and sturdy thick paper bag that should prevent any spills. The flour is white and soft and fluffy, and sifts to a super fine powder. Smelled nice and floury. Mixed into batter smoothly and the cake turned out as lovely as usual. Same taste and texture. We used for baking, but besides cakes and biscuits would be just as great for pizza bases, gnocchi or for thickening sauces. This flour is organic so the price is quite a lot more than a pack of regular flour - $4. 50 compared to $1. 15.

Excellent product - perfect for Christmas baking. Came at the perfect time for my Christmas baking, savoury and sweet!I'm not particular fussed about purchasing organic products but was happy to try this and hubby likes that is was organic. I am a big fan of the packaging, I think it looks very professional and attractive on the shelves. It is a product I would have gravitated towards if trying to pick what flour to purchase among the variety as I think it promotes itself as a genuine and trustworthy product. The flour itself was just as good as any, I don't think I'm a big expert in this area. Highly recommend to purchase however it is on the higher end of the spectrum price wise for me. I would probably purchase a cheaper product which I find is just as good.

Expensive. I did not have any problem finding this product. I have given this flour 4 stars as results of using this are the same as using other flours and I really like that it is a product of Australia. I have used this flour several times, to make gravy, in cakes and slices but I did not notice any difference between this flour and any other plain flour that I have used. Everything I have made using this flour turned out the same as it always does using other flour. This flour is $4. 50 for 1kg while the Essentials flour that I normally buy is $1. 15. I do not think that just because the package has a purple banner saying certified organic that it is worth paying almost 4 times more for. As I have found not found any difference in the results of using this flour compared to other flour I would not buy this. It is much too expensive.
