This Vacuum Sealer is awesome and absolutely gets the job done in procuring the freshness of products. Somehow the lid cracked on my sealer. I reached out to customer service at Avid Armor and the lid was promptly replaced. Thanks again for a great product along with standing behind it.

This machine is on another level compared to the three FoodSavers we’ve used over the last several years. Well-built and well-designed. Not ashamed to have this out on a counter. The vacuum is much stronger and faster than what we were accustomed to.

This vacuum sealer outperforms every other suction vacuum sealer I have ever used. I am an active home cook who likes to sous vide and barbecue regularly, and have tried a ton of different vacuum sealers. Prior to purchasing the magic vac jumbo 30 I used the Avid Armor a100 for almost all of my regular vacuum sealing. While that is an amazing sealer (especially for the price), I seal a lot of ham legs and roasts that sometimes were a tight squeeze in the 12" seal bar of the a100. I also used it with some challenging wet foods (fish), and using the pulse feature and adjusted seal time it also handled it beautifully. For wet items I really liked the removable lid and catch tray- I could just pop out the tray and wash it in the sink. Overall there are so many positives about this sealer, and aside for the limitations of traditional suction sealers (can be a challenge to seal liquids) I have been blown away. The additional features like the viewing window, locking lid and wider seal bar have really made the user experience top notch. This is the sealer to buy if you work in a commercial setting, or if you are a home user who just appreciates the extra quality of a sealer like this.Pros:Amazing quality- Almost everything is stainless steel or high end plastics for easy cleaning. It looks and feels like a quality kitchen appliance. I also appreciate it being made in Italy and not China like most of the home grade products on the market.Thoughtful design- The window to ensure correct bag alignment, removable lid and tray, and wide sealing area make this a breeze to use and clean. I also really like the locking lid on this, it is tight enough that the bag doesn't shift once locked and keeps everything in place.Lots of suction- Handled every tough item I have tried with no problem.Feature rich- I love the pulse feature and adjustable seal time for wet items like fish. Wet food is always the hardest thing for a traditional sealer and this one does a great job getting a quality seal.Cons:Extras- Canisters for marinading are sold separately. This is pretty standard practice but would love to see these included.More time consuming for liquids- As with all traditional suction sealers it can be difficult to seal liquids like soups or milk. The pulse feature DOES make it possible, it just takes more effort. If you find yourself sealing a lot of liquids you are best investing in a quality chamber style sealer. I own the Avid Armor ASV32 and absolutely love it for liquids.
