Its got no volumeunit marking to it, not even simplest 100ml500ml1000ml. 2. Theres no spout to it, making pouring liquids an adventure every time. 3. Its huge but you can only fill 23 of it, and even that only when juicing, not when blending When slicinggrating using discs, surprisingly large chunks the ends of fruitveggies are left unprocessed. Not a big issue with say a cucumber, I can just eat it, but a bit worse when grinding 1012 potatoes. Im stuck with 12 leftovers I need to pick out from the jug and then try grind againRegarding accessories theres no coffeeherb mill, shame the citrus juicer is ok but it works at an excessive speed, where holding the fruit is a challenge and its not easy to get all the juice out theres a centrifugal juicing attachment big YAY but its not very efficient. Compared to my very basic Philps juicer it yields 15 less I ran very accurate tests and also I need to empty the dry pulp container halfway through making 23 glasses of juiceIts not a bad product, I love having it at home, making pesto, chopping onion, getting cheese, slicing everything in seconds ...and maybe all processors struggle with somemost of the above issues its just that with that price tag, you really cant help but feel a bit disappointed.

I love my new Magimix 5200 XL premium food processor! It’s super fast, the blades are unbelievably sharp and the cut is precise each and every time. I’ve had it for several weeks now, use it daily. Today I made a decadent dark chocolate and raspberry tart (using salted butter to make the tart shell)Then I made a hommus in the mini bowl, sliced carrots and celery in the midi bowl to make a soup for lunch. There’s no need to wash in between as having the three bowls saves time. All dishwasher safe, but I prefer to hand wash, but be careful as the blades are super sharp!! I did cut my thumb as I washed blade.Lots of attachments included in the premium. Not impressed with this food processor. It's as though it was designed on paper and not actually tested. To use the smallest bowl, you need the middle and large bowls, which inevitably end up getting food on them so all have to be washed. Removing the blade from the large bowl after processing results in food going down the hole in the middle. Nowhere in the instructions does it say that you must use the smoothie ring for any liquid, and that if you don't use it, liquid sprays out through every gap in the lid and all it's components. Even with the smoothie ring, or when processing powder ingredients, the food/liquid works its way under the lid so that when you remove the lid, the ingredients drip/fall onto the bench. It's as though the motor is too powerful. The ... MoreNot impressed with this food processor. It's as though it was designed on paper and not actually tested. It's as though the motor is too powerful. The citrus juicing attachment leaks juice down the outside, back of the bowl, onto the unit, everytime you lift the lid. I was sucked in by the very high price of this food processor, thinking that for that price it must be a high quality machine, but there just seem to be too many design flaws.

As a chef, I chose the Magimix 5200XL for a number of reasons: it has a solid build and blades - which are similar to a commercial food processor. The product also comes with impressive warranty. The Magimix has amazing processing speed and power. I now knead dough in thirty seconds which is a vast improvement to kneading by hand for twenty minutes! It is easily cleaned with parts able to go into the dishwasher. It looks beautiful – displayed on a shelf in the kitchen within easy reach. Though I have not yet had the opportunity to try out all its capabilities, the prospect is exciting. Now, in my home kitchen, preparing recipes will be made far easier for the whole family. I cannot fault the customer service, order was delivered the next day and excellent communication. Friendly delivery person. As for the product - I’m extremely satisfied with it and I am looking for excuses to use it. Grated 2kgs of cheese including mozzarella in minutes. Makes very creamy hummus. My daughter and I are excited to experiment with bread making, pastry and juicing the lemons from my Dad’s tree. Highly recommend.

I am very satisfied with the product, I have been using it daily to make different dishes such as hummus, pesto, tofu nuggets mixture, slicing apples for a crumble, grating zucchini for quiches, chopping onions and garlic and chopping nuts for Baklawa. It is quieter than my previous food processor and very efficient. I love the three sizes of bowls and use the small one very often. The blades are very sharp.Only downside is the cleaning as it is recommended to wash by hand.

This food processor is simply wonderful. Speedy, chic, all-singing and all-dancing. Very pleased with it. Seems very sturdy and comes with ingenious and robust gadgets. A word of advice, don't expect the "creative kit" x 3 blades to be the julienne kit. It's not. Magimix's online video is a tad misleading. However, JL rectified the error within 24 hours.

I am so thrilled with my Magimix 5200XL so far! It feels so solid and sturdy and is super easy to use.We are a family of 5 and my husband bought me a cheaper (but supposedly still good quality) kitchenaid food processor 3 years ago whose motor wasn’t so powerful and just couldn’t cope with the quantities I was trying to work with - so the blade would often jam when I was making things like bliss balls or burgers. I’d often also find myself fiddling around taking the lid on and off so I could push ingredients back down into the bowl to be blended properly. It ended up being easier/faster just to do things by hand or with a stick blender :-(So The first thing I made with my new magimix was lamb burgers and it chopped up the onion and parsley so finely and then ... MoreI am so thrilled with my Magimix 5200XL so far!
