Magimix Power Blender Matt Chrome

I purchased this as a replacement to my old reliable Phillips cucina that I've had for over 20yrs that finally died on me. This is a huge upgrade to my old blender with all these added features. I chose this mostly because it too has a glass jug like my old blender, this is heavy however, but it's very powerful and well made, it's not loud like the nutri bullet & ninja and it makes great smoothies plus it's very quick, I haven't made any ice desserts with it as yet, but I look forward to doing so, I love that I can grind, coffee bean, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, nuts etc from the same base unit using the mill attachment which is glass also, excellent! The blend cups are of a good quality also.

A very good blender

After years of using a nutribullet, I swapped for this bender and straight away I noticed the difference. Not only is the machine itself more powerful than the previous blender, the Magimix is also more versatile. There are a number of useful settings for creating desserts, smoothies and even for making lovely creamy soups. Its hefty glass cup can take warm foods and can also crush ice. The only downside is that the Magimix does not look as sturdy as it is and, as a result, I still find myself hesitating to use it for more demanding tasks, even the ones that are according to the instructions.

Excellent, stylish blender

I bought this after much research, and to replace a Kitchenaid blender which was a disappointing purchase that stopped working after a year. After researching all the blenders available, it came down to the Magimix, a high-end Breville that was on sale to the Nutri-Ninja. I'm so glad I chose the Magimix. It blends amazingingly, is very easy to use, cleans easily and has a proper glass jar which I think is so much better than the plastic jugs most of the other brands have. It also has a timeless, classic European aesthetic that looks great in our kitchen. In the words of Molly Meldrum, "Do yourself a favour!"

Finnaly found a blender that is great - magimix

I have been using a number of blenders over the years and haven't been happy with any of them.After looking around for 1+ year I found the magimix. This is the best blender I can think of.I really like ithe solid glas jar, you can take it appart to clean it or just use the "clean" program (works great). It's on the quite side of high-speed blender, easy to opperate. I make smoothies every day and it works great. Best I don't have to turn the jar/cup around (like with the previous nutribullet) and it does not gets messy when you open it. Overall quality looks solid. 30 years warranty on the motor and yes you get spare parts :-)

I could not be happier with my purchase. It is incredibly well made and a beauty to behold in the kitchen. I use it daily, and am always thoroughly impressed. It makes short work of ice and frozen fruit, wonderfully silky nut butters, perfect curry pastes, flours, and truly puts the "smooth" back in "smoothie". The motor is excellent, she positively purrs, and I was pleasantly surprised by the automatic programs, they have turned out to be tremendously useful.Happily, the machine operates at an acceptable volume, much less fearsome than I'd imagined. It arrived exceedingly well packaged, and included a concise but easy to understand instruction book, and a complementary hardback recipe book, which was a lovely touch. But most of all I am impressed with the high quality build - all parts designed, manufactured and assembled in France! Hallelujah!What more can I say? If you adore cookery and high quality products, the Magimix will make a blessed addition to your kitchen.

Not powerful enough

After using a Vitamix for many years, decided to try this because of the glass jar, and the supposed high power. Comes nowhere close to the Vitamix. My test of a "powerful" blender is whether it can make peanut butter. In spite of Magimix's claims to the contrary, this one can't. The cleaning mode of the blender doesn't manage to clean out remnants of even a simple smoothie. Also be prepared to deal with leaks given the fiddly design of the sealing ring on the bottom.We also bought this when a promo offer was running, promising us a free small grinder jar. Magimix sent it after 16+ weeks. And the jar turned out to be pretty poor quality - cracked and broke during normal use within months. Perfect blender

I love my Magimix blender. It makes blending smoothies and washing a breeze with its auto functions. I like how it doesn't take up much space. I also like there is no twisting and only lifting to disconnect the jug from the base. With the powerful motor, it's a little noisy but not surprising. The motor comes with a 30 year guarantee, which is comforting to know it will last the distance.

Magimix handled frozen banana chunks fine.I'm so glad that the Magimix jug is glass, which is an important factor for me as I like to avoid plastic.Good capacity 1.8litres. It's solid but easy to handle, the square shape of jug seems to help so it doesn't roll around, with a large handle it's easier to hold & manoeuvre than the round jugs on other similar-sized blenders I've used.Seems a very sturdy, quality product, with a compact footprint on my small worktop space as the photo shows!Easy to clean, the Auto-clean prog on its own is effective but if you want to deep clean, the blade holder is very easy unscrew and screw back on compared to other blenders, even with my weaker & ageing hands.Looking forward to purchasing the glass mini-bowl/grinder attachment, to make smallish quantities of hummus.It looks good too :-)

Quality all round

I absolutely love this product, 100% quality. It's a little on the heavy side being glass but it is amazing. It cleans itself. It has a few different functions. It also isn't loud. I replaced another machine/brand for this one as it was so loud .You won't be disappointed. Happy blending.

Top quality product

Recently replaced my old blender with this product. I was impressed immediately from the robust design and quality of this well constructed product even before use.However, I wasn't disappointed when using. It is so easy to use, with a smooth power delivery for ever variation of food product and requirements I need,Would highly recommend, even though a higher price than alternative models. It should last for many years to come.
