Wish I realized that older negatives are larger (sometimes much larger) than 35mm and wont fit into the adapters or even the slot. But operation is easy to figure out and has worked great for my first 500 negatives. Many more to go.

Doesn't connect directly to computer

The device is effective and inexpensive, but you need an SD card reader to get the files onto your computer. If your computer doesn't have an SD card reader, you'll have to get one. Otherwise it works great.

Film Scanner

Works well. It cannot scan the negatives which are a bit darker. For normal color and black/white negatives it works perfect. The adapters do not accept negatives larger than 126. Some of the pictures lose their quality when transferred to a computer. Light weight and easy to handle. Screen is also of a very good size. I think it is a bit expensive.

Good output

I have several hundred slide and negatives to scan and this seems to work great. Easy to use a very decent output. Using on Kodachrome from the 80’s and my great grandpas slide film and so far it’s great. When sent to a computer it is not a true 24mb picture but for the money it’s great. If I wanted to blow up for prints it would be questionable but for having digital copies of slides it’s more than adequate.

Good value!

Worked well for the 45yr old negatives I was backing up. Only used on 35mm. Sometimes got confused on the flip feature. Without letters sometimes hard to determine original from mirror.Was able to leave connected to laptop and dump (20) 24 megapixel images at a time without involving SD cardSIMPLE!!!!

Great and inexpensive high-quality scanner

This scanner is very easy to use, and at is fast - much faster than using a regular high-end scanner with impressive quality of final digital pictures. It is a great choice if you have a moderate amount of old 35 mm films. I have 1000 of old negative films with 36 imprints on each plus a huge amount of slides to digitize. I had to proceed with a much more expensive scanner that would make my job fab faster.

Great scanner

Great scanner at an affordable price. Scanned about 200 negatives on Sunday and it worked just as described and as I expected. Very happy with the purchase and will be scanning a lot more negatives and slides in the near future.

Magnasonic FS1

It doesn’t capture the outside edges of the 35mm photos, but neither did the processing lab. This is one thing that I wanted it for, to capture the entire photo. You have to decide which edge you want to keep. The photos capture as as high quality as those from the lab

Nice Little Piece of Kit!

After receiving the Magnasonic All-In-One 22MP Film Scanner, I was apprehensive with the Size and the Slide Mechanisms of wether I'd get the quality I wanted and the ease of use for my Negatives. The oldest were from the 80's on forward, and not all still had been developed from then. The options of developing negatives for 35mm, 110 and Projected Slides was surprising, changing the slides was flawless and the picture was instantaneous. When I scanned the first few negatives it was really emotional to bring up those memories I hadn't seen in so long. The clarity was phenomenal and using the USB/HDMI cord to show up on my TV to enlarge the viewing was like my memories were life sized. Will not save to SD cards

I tried several SD cards with different formatting but the unit would not save into an SD card. You can save pictures to the internal memory but it is very small.
