If you had any doubts of the authenticity of the ice cream, the evident vanilla pods make this treat truly delicious. Take your time or eat it in before it melts - I’m the latter - devouring each mouthful. A fabulous product that tastes brilliant. A perfect addition to a hot summers day or a lazy day in front of the TV. Magnum are the leaders when it comes to choolcolate covered ice-cream goodness.

So we've finally hit summer, the days are scorching and the nights are just as warm at times. This is the time the UK screams for ice cream and by god do Magnum deliver. The almond Magnum has everything you would want in an ice cream starting with the crunchy shell that allows you to take a bite straight out of the ice cream. The vanilla flavour is is the typical flavour you expect from Magnum, nice and silky smooth. Whilst the crunch is very satisfying the ice cream can sometimes tend to fall apart with pieces dropping off meaning it can get messy, for me this is the reason for giving it 4 stars. I received this as a free products to sample from Ocado . I usually buy the Haagan Dazs version and was pleasantly surprised , I actually prefer the Magnum . The chocolate is a little more creamier and the ice cream a better salted caramel flavour. .
