I bought this 2 weeks ago. So disappointed. I smelt the scent on someone & loved it. This smells so different on me I am wonderingif it is the correct product. Actually smells like a sweet sickly candifloss. I have only tried it once & will have to waste the whole bottle as I can't wear it:( Woyld highly recommend going to the store & trying the product before buying otherwise you could make a very expensive mistake as I have done.

Great perfume sent mixed with bad oil smell. You can smell the perfume scent which I love but then there is a background scent that I can’t put my finger on that I hate. It’s like a bad smelling oil mixed with the perfume scent. I was hoping the other scent would disappear but it didn’t . I will stick with my moisturized and just the perfume. Already returned the oil.

I stumbled across this fragrance through word of mouth. It is so beautiful. It is exotic with a subtle spiciness that makes it really enticing, but it also means I can’t stop smelling myarms!! I have had many complements while wearing it and it feels like no other fragrance. I bought the oil which sprays on well and is light and easily absorbed, perfect for coming out of the shower. However next time I think I’ll go the straight fragrance as I imagine it will last an even longer time on my skin.

I have been wearing Baccarat Rouge for years, and have just managed to get my hands on the body oil. It was worth the wait! For me, I love all my body products to match my fragrance; 1. Because it makes the fragrance last longer and smell stronger… and 2. It looks beautiful and feels beautiful to have your favourite fragrance in many different forms. The body oil is beautiful, and not too oily. Definitely a nice addition if you love the fragrance. Also a nice alternative if you don’t want to fork out the $$ for the actual fragrance - would recommend the body oil, body cream and hair mist and it’s a similar effect to wearing the fragrance.
Ok so I bought this around Christmas time and have barely used it cuz it doesn’t last long on my skin. And sometimes it smells a little too much like much like cloves on warm skin. Something I have realised is that it smells way better and lasts quite long on clothes or any cotton! I spray and rub on my skin at night before bed, when I wake up I noticed the smell disappears from my skin but the bed sheets still smells like the body oil. And when I come home from work, after a shower, I slip into bed and find that my pillow and sheets still smells like the body oil. How lovely.
I’ve been wearing the perfume for a while until the formula was changed and now it’s like spraying water & alcohol on you. However, the body oil and body lotion lasts and is a great texture that moisturisers well. If you want the smell, don’t waste your money on the perfume. It’s utter garbage now. But the oil lasts and smells like the perfume should. I’ve given it 4 stars because the bottle doesn’t last long.
I am very happy with my purchase. I had a sample of Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume and loved it, but when I found out how expensive the price was for a bottle of the perfume I was not a happy camper. So when I saw there was a scented body oil for a more reasonable price I bought it. It smells just like the perfume and the scent lasts just as long on me as it does with the perfume. I spray it 3 times (on my neck and both wrists) and let it soak in for a minute or two before I get dressed and all is good. Since it’s an oil I’d rather spray it on directly my skin and not on my clothing. The only negative for me is that it’s an oil and not a perfume, which is why it’s 4 stars.
Bought the oil thinking it would have longevity and way less expensive than the perfume. I mean the essential oils is what gives any perfume it’s longevity. Well, I received this today, sprayed and sprayed again and you cannot smell anything except for a tiny hint of orange blossom. That’s it. I am returning to buy the actual perfume because I do like the original scent but was hoping to use the oil as I personally use perfume oils over sprays. This oil is made so weak. Read the reviews on this on multiple platforms. The main issue is that it smells like nothing at all. Really sad that at $95 this brand would skimp out on its body oil.
The bottle is beautiful but the scent is pretty weak. I spray it on and immediately have to sniff my wrist to even smell it. The oil doesn’t seem to absorb into my skin and kinda just sits there. Mecca was good with its delivery, it came pretty fast.Overall I wish it was a bit stronger, but I’m happy to have a Baccarat Rouge 540 product in general. This is the only thing I could afford and justify price wise. I do love the bottle and packaging, and don’t regret buying it. I’m happy to have it in my collection.
This oil smells exactly like the the perfume. It’s the OG line and the extrait. It’s perfect for layering with br540 AND Burberry Her, both versions. If you’re expecting this oil to take the place of the fragrance, it’s not going to work. Add lotion or Vaseline to help fragrance sillage, for any line. I am not quite sure why so many bad reviews, unless it due to nose-blindness, then switch out your fragrances. The oil is awesome and a great price point and deserves all 5 stars.
