Maison Margiela’s replica fragrance line is a favorite of mine. ✨ Every scent I’ve tried is the perfect replica of a memory in a bottle. I was so excited to try a warmer scent just in time for the spring and summer. 🌊 Beach Walk smells like the feeling of being outside in the summer time. Upon first spray, notes of bergamot and coconut, and the familiar scent of sunscreen (not in a bad way) stand out. The scent dries down beautifully to reveal a more layered light floral and musk. The projection is medium, if someone is standing next to you in an elevator they may be able to smell it, but it won’t be overpowering. Before I actually sprayed it and just smelled it in the bottle, I did not like this scent at ALL, I thought it smelled absolutely terrible. After I actually sprayed it on myself though, that was a whole different story. I ended up really liking this scent! The first thing I smelled was the vanilla. Then I got soft hints of the pink pepper and the tobacco leaf. Tobacco leaf? In a perfume? It sounds absolutely crazy, but it WORKS, and it smells darn good! I don't claim to be any kind of perfume expert, these are just my opinions and observations. It projected some, but not much, and stayed for a few hours, but not all day. It's definitely a unisex/genderless scent that could be worn by either a man or woman confidently. It's from the warm and spicy fragrance family and the woody spices scent type. The key notes are: pink pepper, rum absolute, and tobacco leaf absolute. In this scent, a smooth cocktail of warm scents and spicy fragrances awakens the senses with contrasting lemon and pink pepper followed by neroli oil, rum, and vanilla perfume atop smoky tobacco leaf. Inspired by the scents wafting throughout a Brooklyn club, this eau de toilette brims with the sweet notes of opened cigar boxes, old leather bar stools, and finely aged liquor. I wasn't expecting to like this fragrance at all, but was very pleasantly surprised. If you're into unisex fragrances I definitely suggest checking this one out. The Maison Margiela "Replica" Line is quickly becoming one of my new favorites!

This fragrance is smokey, spicy, warm cozy. Truly emulates being around a fireplace. This fragrance has been my signature fall/winter scent for years. For those familiar with BBW’s Marshmallow Fireside candle, this is EXACTLY that scent formulated into a fragrance. It is no wonder I felt so much nostalgia when I first came across this. This is a unisex fragrance I love how one’s skin chemistry can slightly alter the scent. It pulls much spicier on my partner whereas the sweetness from the vanilla pulls a bit deeper on me. First off I will start by saying I do love this fragrance composition and I only rated it four stars for longevity. So for me personally I love a fragrance that lasts a long time. This lasts I would say maybe three hours on me before having to reapply. Not sure if I go nose blind quickly or if its so delicious I just have to keep spraying. Notes listed are: orange flower, clove oil, and chestnut atop a comforting vanilla fragrance. To me the orange and vanilla smells like carmel or praline with Clove being a background note. The Clove and Chestnut make it spicy and warm like literally being by a fireplace in the winter without being super heavy and smokey. I love layering this fragrance with Ellis Brooklyn Après EDP. This fragrance makes me want to be on the beach somewhere, relaxing in my bathing suit, soaking up the sun. It's considered a "fresh" scent, and has notes of bergamot, ylang ylang, coconut milk accord, and white musk. The key notes are: bergamot, heliotrope, and coconut milk. It's a fresh scent inspired by salty air and rays of sun where bergamot and pink pepper fuse with lemon atop a floral perfume of heliotrope, coconut milk, and musk. Memories of endless summer days, the scent of salty air, and the glow of sun-kissed skin are evoked with each fine mist. Footprints in the sand and the scent of sunscreen wafting through the air bring inspiration to this warm yet refreshing fragrance. Now I can totally see what all the hype is about. This fragrance not only smells incredible, but it definitely evokes warm memories of great times spent on the beach, and summers passed. This is the absolute perfect scent to wear for summer, and I 100% recommend trying it for yourself. I think that it will most likely captivate you the way it has with me and so many others!

If cozy season was a fragrance

I love REPLICA scents and this one is actually a favorite of mine. It embodies the essence of cozy season, my favorite time of the year. It’s like getting all of the best elements of sitting right next to the fire pit or fireplace without any of the negative ones. I love wearing this with sweaters and just curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book. When you first spray it, It can smell very smoky but it dries down into something sweet and delectable while retaining a smoky essence. Like a marshmallow that you’ve roasted to the perfect golden color over an open flame. I can almost hear the wood crackling and spitting when I wear it. Your new bag is packed. There's no sand in the bottom because it's the first day that spring has been warm enough to trek to the beach and enjoy the sun. Sun hat, sunscreen, shades, towel, water bottle, book: check. You stop by the local beach vendor on the way down to the sand because a Pina colada sounds nice. You can hear the seagulls calling for you in anticipation of the snacks you forgot to pack for your hasty departure. The perfect spot...there it is. The waves smoothed the sand just hours prior and the only flaws are the tiny prints from the Sandpipers' feet skittering along the ebb and flow of the water. The breeze, the salt on your lips, the ocean smells, the slight brine scent in the sand wafting up to your nose, the all-too-familiar smell of sunscreen, sun-warmed elastic fibers, and skin. It's spring and there's no noise but you, the birds, the water and wind, and God. No tourists...no trash, no beer cans, no waste of any kind, no steamy bodies, no foul foods... nothing. Just the smell of a day at our beaches before the tourists come but somehow in a bottle (I received as a free sample).

Perfection in an apothecary bottle

I love this fragrance. I originally bought the 10ml travel spray of this and TF Ombré Leather with the intention of only keeping one and getting a bottle of the other. After putting on Jazz Club for a nice night in, but I got so many great responses that I ended up getting bottles of both.Jazz Club is sweet, mature, with boozy and cigar tobacco notes. From top to bottom, it is a wonderful fragrance that is outstanding for night times and winter days. Jazz Club certainly evokes a boozy high-end bar in Brooklyn CA. 2013 (I was there, it does, less the smoky notes cuz no smoking inside). This is a safe blind buy. It is through and through a great unisex fragrance that smells of quality. It's not perfectly unique, but it is so well put together that it doesn't need to ... MoreI love this fragrance. She’s fruity and sweet, but nothing groundbreaking

This reminds me of something I either wore or smelled in my teens in the mid-late 90’s. There was a perfume called Cherry Bombay that we would shoplift from the drug store and this is very reminiscent of that. Well, that mixed with some sweet floral-y fruity shampoo or body wash. Or maybe it’s a hairspray? I can’t place it exactly. I definitely wouldn’t make this my signature scent, it’s a little too generic and one dimensional but it’s great as a bedtime scent or maybe a “skipped a shower and want my hair to smell fresh with minimal effort” scent. Also, I’m really digging the memories it conjures up. Would I willingly buy this if it weren’t on sale? Not likely. But it’s a fun addition to my excessive fragrance collection. One of my favorite perfumes, especially during colder months. I’m female but this is sturdily unisex and imo is a very flexible scent. It’s warm and cozy, and despite the name “By The Fireside”, I don’t find it overwhelmingly smoky. It actually has a very pretty lightness on top of orange flower and chestnut which then settles to a more round and wholesome vanilla and spice base. It’s not particularly woody, more of the scent of a cozy home or winter laundry (with the cashmeran note).It has fair wear, with good throw and lasts about half a day with a small bit left sweetly on the skin at the end of the day. I find it super comforting and use it between both me and my partner.
