Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning Limited-Edition Eau De Toilette 100ml

While I believe this leans slightly feminine I am a guy and rock this as a dum reach casual scent. This smells like freshly washed laundry with a slight floral twist. It has quite good staying power for a fresh clean scent. The bottle is beautiful and feels great to pull out and spritz some on when you don’t want to think too hard about what to wear. I wouldn’t say this is formal in anyway, but would be a great casual or office scent. I primarily get musks as it dries down and some lily.

When I tried this in store I though it’s amazing how the name is just so accurate! Initially I get a very strong whiff of aldehyde that mellow down quickly. Then it’s just clean laundry with a hint of fabric conditioner but in the best way possible. Sometimes I wonder if I really want to smell like my clean sheets and pyjamas but the answer tends to be yes :) very different from the usual frangrance profiles I bought a full bottle based on this experience but then it was completely different with my bottle. I get the sweetness from the iris more than anything else, no clean sheets. I’m leaving my bottle to macerate hoping it will change

Love this scent

Have used this scent before, bought the larger selection set previously and must say I'm a fan of a lot of the Maison Margiela range. Whatever the bottle says, it's what I smell when I spray it. Was so nice to get a minaiture (cutest little bottle) in the Space NK Fragrance Advent Calendar. It has re-established my interest in this whole range again. I'm buying into the Lazy Sunday Morning when I'm popping this on, sauntering around London, grabbing a coffee, bit of chill in the air, but nice and warm. It's a lovely scent and it lasts a fairly long time too. If you haven't tried the range, I would recommend. The discover sets are really good for this.

My absolute favorite REPLICA line

Discovered this amazing perfume from sephora’s REPLICA discovery box. This was my absolute favorite the minute I smelled it and I had to have the full size bottle right away. Smells so clean without giving off pure laundry detergent but rather sophisticated and lovely cleanliness with fresh flowery note. Amazing throughout any season but definitely best during spring/summer time.My only wish is it lasted longer as my skin just eats up this perfume and the longevity is so short. Will pay any amount if this could come out as EDP or even higher concentration. Bought travel spray as well just so that I can continue to refill it and take it with me so I can spray it throughout the day. Will be repurchasing when I run out of the bottle.

Not for me

I got a generous 10ml vial of this as part of a Replica Discovery Set along with Sailing Day and Beach Walk. I went on to buy full sizes of Sailing Day and Beach Walk but really didn't care for Lazy Sunday Morning, even though I love most of the Replica collection. It's marketed as a floral eau de toilette and I love floral perfumes. However there's just something about it which I don't like. I don't think it’s the white musk as I’ve smelt that in other perfumes so maybe this is the first time I’ve smelt Lily of the Valley, which obviously didn’t work for me. It's not one I'll be buying but the Replica collection is still my favourite of all perfume collections.

Skin scent parfume!

Absolutely looooove this eau de toilette, it is very light and fresh as freshly washed bed sheets but still classy. (Sorry, for weird description, don't know how else to describe it! I just love it: it suits for every occasion from lazy Sunday morning to business and wild parties. :) One note: don't be alarm how it smells in the store or on the tester paper, because once put on the skin: the smell is absolutely different, I first was sceptical when tried in the store but still took a risk (after hearing so many positive reviews about it) and now I regret of not taking the bigger bottle. The best part about this perfume is how it changes through out the day going from light to lighter and to lightest. Love it!
