Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix Setting Spray 100ml

This spray did not work for me. I didn’t even go outside…yet my face became super shiney and oiley after a couple of hours. I have combination skin so perhaps this is expected?? I sprayed on top of my makeup so maybe I did it wrong? Right now, I wouldn’t recommend for oily skin. I recommend for those who have dryer skin. I am going to try spraying before applying foundation…so we will see. If it turns out good, then I will change my rating.

This is the Make Up For ever mist and fix setting spray and it is ideal for normal, dry, and combo of the two skin types. This definitely helps keep your makeup in place longer. This is a hydrating formula, not for those with oily skin. This is alcohol free. I’ve never had any issues with the spray, it comes out in a fine mist and feels like water. Doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin

This is one of my favorite setting sprays. What I look for in a setting spray is obviously how well it helps my makeup stay on, but most importantly for me is how does it affect the finish of my makeup? I love when a setting spray melts the powder into my face and makes everything look a little more soft and helps the skin look a little more like skin! This one is great for that. The spray is a little aggressive, but I like to go in and gently pat my damp beauty sponge afterwards so I can deal.

All Time Favourite Setting Mist

I’ve tried quite a couple setting sprays over the years from UD to Mac Fix+ and this one always stands out to me due to the non overpowering scent. It’s also able to make my makeup lasts as long as the UD one and makeup doesn’t settle into fine lines (except under eyes). One draw back is that the spray produces too much product so my face is always wet after spraying. Had to let the fan dry them off.

Agreed that this is the best makeup setting spray. It is hydrating and has an effect of blurring/melting the makeup so that it looks more natural and not as powdery and ‘done’ looking. The lasting power is great and prevents makeup from fading as quickly as it would normally, while also enhancing its appearance. I think the people that claim all nighter or charlotte tilbury is the best haven’t tried this one probably because make up forever isn’t as trendy these days. So there is a caveat, make sure you buy the full size. I bought the mini for travel and it doesn’t mist as well and sometimes spits. I’d probably still personally use it for travel but it is disappointing. The full size and the product itself and what it is does however is THE BEST.

My favorite!

I use this after my setting powder. It keeps everything in place for at least 10hours. “Melts” the powder to give a smooth natural skin look, and leaves a nice sheen. Tried mac and urban decay, and i still prefer this. For context i am in my 30s with dry skin.

Not bad actually

Needed a new setting spray for NYE as my CT spray ran out and I didn't replace it soon enough. I went to my local store and prayed for a miracle but no CT so I asked what was comparable and the sales associate showed me this. I used this for NYE and it did last me the night to be honest. My skin felt refreshed and my makeup stayed put for a good 8 hours. The one thing I did notice was it did settle eventually on my nose and some of the oilier places on my face but fixed with another spray and a quick powder to the face! My go to is still CT but this worked well and I will be using this until it runs out.

I decant this into an Urban Decay Spray Bottle because it gives it a better mist. Upon the advice of several staff at Sephora at different locations, I sprayed a ton til I could feel my face was wet. Gave it a few seconds to dry then I use a fixing spray like UD All Nighter or Ben Nye Final Seal. After that I use Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray as a finishing spray.I find All Nighter too drying as a setting spray, it's much better as a Fixing/Lock it in spray.Cover FX is too shiny and gets too splotchy with droplets if I use it as a setting spray (ie several pumps), so I use it lightly and sparingly as a finishing mist (2 pumps).But as a setting spray, I really liked the MUFE Mist and Fix. The best on the market

I’ve played with several setting sprays the last few years and I always come back to this one. Never drying, non irritating, no weird finish or film. You look natural and fresh all day. I don’t set my under eyes with powder so I rely on my setting spray to do the job and this smooths my under eyes. Even if there’s a little creasing when doing my concealer this takes it away. I will never stray again. I give this product 10 stars

went to hangout with the girls out by the pool and we were all having a good time. I was not really dressed to go swimming so I was just enjoying time with friends. I ended up pushing my friend daughter in the pool and then all of a sudden I ended up in the pool. full face of makeup and I was expecting to have to remove it all so I could enjoy the rest of the day without looking like some extra from a zombie or horror film. but when I came up and turned around I saw something that I didn't expect. my friends were glaring at me or had a look of shock on their face. I asked them what was wrong and they asked me what I had on. my makeup didn't move.
