So I bought this and was debating between the fair shade and the medium shade but ended up going for medium. I am pretty fair but since it is summer and I get tan easy I got medium and it didn't really show up and blended out to nothing. I put it on my eyes and really liked it, but not for my face. It might work better on someone who's skin isn't dry and make sure to get a much darker shade.

I actually liked this product for the price. I bought the medium and I am a medium complexion. I could've used the dark, but the concealer matched fine and the contour could be a bit darker, but it is okay for the matching concealer.I find the product very blendable.I'd probably buy the darker one just to have both, but I do not find this product drying at all.I have creamier concealers for but what it is and the price, it does the job!

Very disappointed with this product. Got it in store, there was no testers so couldn't really see what shades and colours you gonna get. Got the light one, just by the look of the packaging and pictures showing it. Nothing like it. There's like literally just 2 highlighters. 2 starts only because it has good coverage, after all.

Got the product in the shade light. Normally i go for a medium tone due to my brown complexion but a staff member convinced me for light as we both thought the colours would match whats on the box. I dont think that even a fair toned person would use the shade light as its close to invisible. Although it can be used as a good conclear and it provide good coverage and the texture is nice. Other than that it was a waste of money for me
The contour side was a bit too orange for my liking, I tried out the shade for medium skin tones. The highlighter area was alright but I found they both dry up too fast. I do the contour first one area at a time and with some makeup spray to help blend, then the highlighter, spray and blend. I also liked blending a bit of the product on the back of my hand and applying with a brush. I do set the face with a powder bronzer and face powder after. I would not repurchase this but will finish the one I already have.
I have light medium skin with golden neutral undertone and bought this in shade medium and dark. I use the medium shade for a bronze look and dark for contour. The formula is creamy but doesn't fade away. Especially love the highlight shade in medium. I put it on my nose and under my cheeks. It creates good definition and doesn't disrupt my foundation and concealer so that's a plus. This probably has negative reviews because the two lighter shades aren't dark enough.
As a MAC NC42 I chose the shadedark. At first appearance I was impressed by the packaging and the compact design of the product itself as it allows you to draw precise lines. I swatched the color next to Fenty Beauty contour stick Truffle and Huda Beauty Brontour in medium and it was very comparable. The highlight side is unfortunately a deeper pinker shade than my complexion. Upon application the product wasn't emollient. I would call it dry and as such it blended patchy as if there isn't any playtime before it dries. I didn't care for it with a brush or blending sponge. But for $4 I reasoned I could still wear it on my lips and on my eyes. Wrong. But for $4 I reasoned I could still wear it on my lips and on my eyes. Wrong. By the third day I realized I am sensitive to an ingredient in the product which caused eczema patches under my eyes, around my mouth and huge breakouts on my cheek and along my jaw. The product was a catastrophe for my normally clear skin. I do not recommend this product.
I'm not sure why this product has such bad reviews but it's a great product. My daughter and I both love the way it blends well. We usually blend it with a brush. True, we only use the darker shade most days but even if you only use one side...for the price it's still worth to me lol. I'll definitely buy again. Unfortunately it seems like Ulta has not been restocking stores with it. So I had to buy online.
So I got this thinking it would be easier since it's all in one, all together. The highlight part is not bad. It doesn't hide as much as my highlight from "it cosmetics" but it works. The dark contour side is my issue. It's not thick enough for me, I'll have to use several coats to see the "shadow". Maybe I should of gotten the darker color but I usually use that same color in other products. I wont be using it everyday but It's def good for like a travel touch up !!
So I am 50/50 about this product and here is why: Pros: -Very creamy formula -blends out smoothly -was not patchy - absolutely love the brightening side!! Cons: The shade range is a bit off for me. When I was looking at the packaging, I thought that medium would be my shade because of how it looked in the packaging. But when I was using it, it ended up being the same shade as what I would normally use as my foundation shade, and I was quite thrown off. I usually love makeup revolution products….but the shade range was a bit misleading to me. Maybe I should have played it safe and gotten the darkest shade out of the three, but also it makes me disappointed that for this type of contour stick since the shade range is lacking. Maybe I should have played it safe and gotten the darkest shade out of the three, but also it makes me disappointed that for this type of contour stick since the shade range is lacking. I am a medium deep skin town, and I usually do struggle to find a shade that works for me from affordable brands. Anyone can easily tell me to buy a foundation stick that is a darker shade but I don’t want to take away a shade that someone needs it just because I want to use it a different way. I’m not giving this a low review because I was highly impressed by the brightening end of the contour stick. I have found a way to use the medium shade for more spot concealing (with the added combo of another concealer on top of it), so I’m not wasting the product at all. But I feel like a 3/5 justifies what I feel about this product. It’s decent but it can always be better.
