After my ryobi drill died I thought I would give makita go, Very impressive paid a bit extra but it's worth it
Bought one of these in April 2021 to replace an Ozito PowerX drill that died (after 2yrs). It's now 8 months later and the chuck won't grip, and the torque settings don't click anymore (a piece of metal fell out from inside the chuck, which I believe came loose from the torque selector), and sometimes without noticing a drill bit will fall out, and so I've now lost an expensive drill bit. It's been great so far, so I will just go back and exchange it for a new one under warranty, as I may have been unlucky and got one with a minor factory defect.
Great Drill / Driver. Good value for money with 2 Batteries.
Great brand. Good reliable drill, battery size is just right.
Love it! Have used it consistently since the purchase! Love the adjustable torque and 'No Chuck" drill bit access. Maybe silly, for some, but I love the tray container in the top. Don't have to go looking everywhere for drivers of drill.
