If you are a contractor or a tradesman, you will definitely save time and money just by having your very own brewed coffee on the job site. I have been using this coffee maker for a few months now with no set backs or any issues whatsoever and found it to be very useful and convenient. Easy to use and saves you time from leaving the jobs just to purchase and have your coffee made by someone else and saving you money in the pocket. I highly recommend this coffee maker. The brewing time for on a 3.0Ah battery is actually between 6-7 minutes and for a 2.0Ah is 6min tops but it gets the job done. I am a rabid Makita guy (90X18v Batteries and counting) since the 80’s when I got my first 9vStick drill/driver. When my son got me the coffee maker I was beside myself, and suddenly the coolest boss on the block. It has an option to go pods or straight drip, and as a drip guy this was a thrill. I made a terrific (yes, terrific!) cup of coffee my first try. Then I tried to brew a second cup for a buddy. My battery shut off, the overheat protection kicked in. Not sure if it is a flaw in mine, or a flaw in the design, but it happens every time, 3 amp hour battery or 6, one and done. I can get more than one cup out of a battery, but not in less than a half hour (an hour on a hot day). Not the coolest boss on the block anymore! If the batteries are discharging fast enough to heat up a cup of water to 180 plus degrees, and then overheating, I think it’s a recipe for disaster. Shorter battery life and coffee by myself being only the obvious issues. Maybe the 40v will be a better match. Coffee for two?

It does not take pods, it takes coffee bags. So to make a coffee, you will need to be equipped with a well charged battery, a bottle of water (it only holds enough for 1 cup) You will need either a bag of ground coffee or a coffee bag, a jar of sugar (if you take sugar in Coffee) and a bottle of milk. Also you will need at least 5 minutes of standing time while the machine heats the water. Its a Gimmick, Just take a flask, it is waste of time and money.
