Finally a good quality heat gun with the trigger button in the right place! all the others have the switch on the back of the handle where you can't reach unless your a mutant with spider hands! Control is great fits nice in the hand, robust and well thought through. the little pop out legs help it to stand upright which is a great touch. temp control is good although it's one temp for both trigger settings basically the trigger only controls on/off and airflow, if it had a settable temp for each airflow setting it would get a full 5 star.

So glad Makita not only made a multi-bay charger for the LXT batteries, but that it charges more than one at a time. Even though it's not their rapid charging system, you can still get 4 charged in 2 hours. It's nice for when you only have a single outlet, but need to keep lots of tools going on the job. So glad I bought this!

A good unit if you have multiple batteries. I have a few bits of equipment that run a 36V set-up (lawn mower, line trimmer, edger & blower), and run with 6.0 Ah batteries. Is a good charger to ensure 4 x batteries can charge simultaneously. Charge time is quite long for 6.0 Ah batteries, and would've liked it to have chimes like the 2 port charger I used to have, but is good for my requirements.
Works great. Narrows down the problem. Easy to use.
Instead of having 4 separate Makita chargers, this 1 charger helps create more space on my bench..
This is for the guy who charges his batteries overnight. It literally takes 8 hours to charge all four batteries. I would have never bought if I had known in only charges a pair of batteries at a time. Then once they’re charged moves onto the next pair. — I leave my tools in a storage unit so dont have power overnight. A big waste of $170
Just what I needed for testing some atv engines.
Now I never have a dead battery. This charger is by far the best that Makita has come out with. For that matter better than any other manufacture.
Was pretty excited about getting this charger but once I plugged it in I noticed only 2 batteries charge at a time. Once the first 2 batteries charge, it starts charging the remaining 2. Keep your money and just get the dual charger. Its the same thing.
