Good to handle, good accessories.

This is a great screwdriver. The torque is not at good as I thought it was going to be, but as it is one speed, probably lower than higher is better. If I need much higher I will use my drill. It is very useful to have it either as a gun shape or straight. Have now used both. Straight for using on the ceiling is best.

Great Kit with great accessories.

I purchased this for small projects and I like the quality of the kit. Its functional and comes with great pieces. Only thing is it's hard to put back the charging bits into the case and there is no indication on when the charging is done. I did have a few bolts that had trouble loosing as the handle wants to spin and you loose grip of the screwdriver. You need a firm gripe.

Great Tool

Moved to Oakville ON in February and have been using the screwdriver just about everyday. I have poor wrist strength so this tool has become invaluable. Has very powerful torque, and keeps its charge well. The electrical connector in the handle is similar to a connection to charge a Cellular phone, so care care must be giving not to force the connection. This is not a negative comment, just a bit of caution because it is a good tool to have with your tool box.

Just ok

Im an electrician that terminated industrial switch, thought this screwdriver would Make life easier, but it doesnt. Due to not having a variable speed on the trigger and for not having a adjustable torque setting. It spins to quick to lock into small flat blade screws. It does haves good selection of bits that come with it. O well.

MOSTLY USED FOR LIGHT WORK IN TIGHT LOCATIONS.

Great for work installing or replacing electrical/electronic devices.I've used mine on laptop and desktop repairs, replaced lamp fixtures, installed surveillance cameras, repaired toaster, replacing smoke detectors, furnace and ac maintenance...The charge holds for months without drainage. I haven't ever used a maximum charge yet.

No bit holder, no battery level indicator.

Con's 1: It doesn't have a bit holder. Nor does it have a screw mount for a bit holder. My biggest gripe about it 2: Light must be turned on with other hand, doesn't turn on with screw driver function. The light on/off switch is at the bottom of the handle and is only on or off. Great if you need to use this as a flash light. 3: Handle too long. Doesn't fit easily into tool bag or tool box. 4: Awkward thumb buttons , not a standard finger trigger as in any other drivers, drills, impacts etc. 5: No battery level indicator. Doesn't seem like Makita tested this design before production Pro's 1: Light on top, not like Makita's drills and impacts where it's below the chuck. Versatile screwdriver

This is an excellent screwdriver in a sturdy case with lots of bits. I’ll sheepishly admit that I bought it to crank a manual coffee mill. I attached a nut driver to the screwdriver which engages with the coffee mill and the screwdriver has enough power and endurance to produce at least a cup of grounds before needing a recharge via USB or the supplied charger.

Well built but..

Nice tool and a lot in the box. However other reviewers are correct. You do not get the best purchase on the driver because of where the on/off buttons are. Not good in confined spaces where grip is limited. Has plenty battery power though and for most jobs should be perfectly adequate.
