HiI recieved my Mam microwave steriliser and can not recommend it enough. Firstly it came in a cardboard box in another cardboard box. Absolutely fantastic that there was no excess plastic around the product to get rid of. I am thinking eco friendly!When opening the box there was very clear instructions inside letting you know how much water to put in how long for it to go in the microwave etc. Not only does this product go in the microwave you can also use it as a cold water steriliser which was an added bonus to me! I was unable to use the soother as it is for newborns and my baby is just over 2 months (which is the age it is recommended up to). However I do use a MAM soother for my baby so I really like the idea of a smaller one for a newborn. Plus the bottles are super cute. Another aspect of the bottles that I like is that the teats are the same shape as the soother, meaning that baby would hopefully be used to it. I feel that if I did switch my baby to these she would have no problems as she is used to the shape of the soother. The steriliser itself is a great size and really sturdy. I’ve had a microwave steriliser in the past but this one is much better. I am able to fit all 5 of my bottles in this steriliser, 6 could well fit however I only use 5 so unable to test. The 2 tier system is a great feature as it definitely makes it easier to sterilise more items. My microwave is not the largest but the steriliser easily fits. The instructions are really detailed on all sorts of methods of sterilising. I would really recommend this to anyone, in fact I will be getting rid of my old plug in one and switching to this!!!

Really happy with this MAM microwave steriliser. It fits perfectly in our flatbed microwave and could not be easier to use. You simply pour in 200ml of water, pop it in the microwave and set the timer according to your microwave wattage. It could not be easier.The steriliser comes with teat tongs and two internal trays that should allow you to sterilise all your paraphernalia. You can leave out the top tray to fit in larger bottles as well.I thoroughly recommend this steriliser, I'm really happy with it!

In the main, I'm really pleased with it.The biggest drawback is the size, it is quite large so it wouldn't work in a compact microwave.Its really good though. I've managed to fit 4 bottles in at once and have also used it to sterilise some weaning equipment. This is a great product, fits well in a microwave and is ideal for sterilising multiple bottles at once. The product is nice and lightweight and easy to use, fitting 4 of the larger bottles in at one go (or any other products which you want sterilising as most things fit in)It is great for storing away and only using when required.The alternative Mam steriliser which can also be electric may be a better product if you would like the option of microwaving and electric - eg if travelling to hotels which do not have a microwave. Although this product is a great cheaper alternative
Bought as it was suggested for easier use. However, after packaging was removed and bottles washed to sterilise, it was found that the unit didn't fit the microwave. Another type of microwave was tried and again the unit didn't fit. Had bottles not been washed and would be seen to 'be used'; item couldn't be returned. **Please check that the sterilising unit will fit your microwave before you order.
As a first time mum with no babies around me, feeding and sterilising was something I knew nothing about which made me feel quite anxious. We decided to give the MAM Microwave steam steriliser a try and we are so glad that we did. It is so easy to use, super quick and fits perfectly in our microwave. The steriliser stores perfectly away in the cupboard when we are not using it, taking up hardly any room. It’s so easy to transport, making it the perfect product to pack on family trips. We are due to go on a staycation, so this will defiantly be coming with us. This product has made it so easy for us as a new family of 3.

I had a new mam bottle with size 0 teat.Straight away we could tell my son was so much better with this teat. Its bigger and flatter, allowing him to get a good seal.He improved hugely and soon got the hang of bottle feeds, thanks to mam. Not only does he do so much better with them but I also love the design and colours they come in.Easy to take apart and throughly wash.The steam steraliser is a fun bold colour. The steriliser comes with two smaller bottles, soother and tongs.I found the steriliser quite simple to set up; once bottles are taken apart and rinsed they can be thrown into steriliser shelves in any way, unlike some others which require bottles / lids teats etc to be placed in certain places. 6 smaller bottles or 4 bigger bottles easily fit in at one go. My daughter uses a mixture of big and small bottles and we comfortably could sterilise 4 small and 2 large bottles at one time.Depending on the wattage of your microwave will determine how quick the cycle is, we were quite happy with the duration though as long as lid kept on it keeps bottles sterile ... This was my first time using a microwave steriliser as a first time expecting Mum. The whole process couldn’t have been easier with simple step by step instructions and even a few pictures! I was able to get 6 bottles of different brands in with ease.With the different lengths of time depending on microwave wattage, I unfortunately had to put it on the longest setting of 11 mins, then with a 3 minute cool down time that makes the whole process 14 mins. Whilst not ideal, this is still a much shorter period than cold water sterilisation.Visually, the steriliser is very simple looking. In white and grey, it won’t stick out in my kitchen. I am very happy with the look.Overall, the steriliser is great! Easy to use and fits a lot in.
