Great for a beginner! This helmet has protected me from falling rocks while climbing while feeling so comfortable. I usually have issues with adjusting helmets to fit my head properly, and I love how this one is so easy to adjust. Better yet, it didn't cost much too.

I got this helmet five months ago after my old black diamond helmet fell apart. I very much enjoy the comfortability of this model and how easily it tightens. While doing big wall climbs, I found it very easy to attach a headlamp to this model while only using one available hand. As far as complaints, my only one is that the straps can be a little annoying to move around when putting the helmet on.

I bought this helmet as a safety precaution when I need to scramble rather than walk up and down rocky slopes! I haven't used it yet, but I like it's simplicity, it is well made and good value for money. Recommended.

Lightweight. Sturdy. Looks good. Comfortable. I don't notice it while climbing or belaying. Fits my head snugly with the adjustable back-of-the-head strap in addition to the chinstraps.
Saved me from massive rockfall, best helmet I have worn my body is shattered but my skull remains intact. I am writing this with my eyeballs.
It's good. Seemingly standard solid light well fitting basic helmet. Nothing super fancy, just kind of a go to "it works" helmet. The fit adjust works well. I had to move the shin strap join passthroughs quite a bit forward to make them fit over my ears well, but now they are great.
While this helmet may not be as sleek and compact as some other helmets on the market, I feel that at more than half the price of higher end helmets this thing does the job nicely. Sits a bit higher on the head than some other helmets, but it still does the job at protecting your head. Sturdy but not too heavy, and the adjuster in the back lets you quickly achieve the perfect fit. Plus it comes in that sweet purple color!
At full extension the outer brim fits perfectly. Yet, if you want a chin strap you better be able to manufacture your own as this thing is like a thong across your neck strapped tight at full extension. Worthless product.
I bought this helmet on a whim. I made a quick trip to Southern Utah and forgot my helmet. I ran into a local climbing shop the morning of my adventure, tried on every helmet they had and this one was the obvious choice. It's the most comfortable and secure feeling helmet I've worn in 10+ years of climbing. My trusty helmet at home will now be a backup for friends, because I can't NOT wear this one after wearing it once. The chin buckle is simple, it feels weightless on, and the purple color is so cute. I'd highly recommend.
