These are perfect. My little boy loves them. They are slightly longer than I expected but this is a benefit as they have adjustable waistbands and it means they will be able to be worn for longer.

Great quality!

I tried few different shops and brands for my son school uniforms but M&S ones are the only ones doesn’t loose colour or got baggy, the fabric doesn’t get thinner and they look as good day after day use! The fit is perfect and my son always have a smart look! Thanks

Not the same quality or sizing as before

Disappointed. I bought these in 6-7 to replace the age 4-5 M&S shorts my son has just outgrown age 7. The previous ones were a bit big when he was age 4-5 so I didn’t want to buy 7-8 in case they were massive. These new 6-7 ones are the exact same size as his previous 4-5 ones! It was too late to return as they had already been worn by the time I realised. The quality is also lacking, the previous ones I never had to iron the material feels sturdy but not rough or uncomfortable, the material on these is much thinner and therefore they come out of the wash completely creased and require ironing. I buy from M&S over cheaper stores as they had the edge on quality and now I’m not sure I will bother in future.

Good quality shorts. Perfect for my son who is very slim and this is the only shop i have found that has the choice of skinny leg. Much nicer fit for him

Poor quality

These shorts have no give and they are made of a low grade cotton material. Having previously purchased most of my sons school shorts from M&S and been pleased, I was extremely disappointed with these and I'm now looking to buy elsewhere. If M&S are trying to save customers money, then please offer a better grade as I have now wasted my money so would rather pay a little more. My son rides his bike to school but can't ride his bike in these as they're so stiff. I'd have given zero stars if it was an option.

Just what my grandson wanted. Hes always worn rhe cargo style school shorts, but being a slight child this year he asked for something bit more fitted.

Skin reaction
5 May 2023

My son suffered a reaction from wearing these shorts. I have bought m&s shorts before with no issues - can only think it is what they use to make it stain and weather resistant which has caused this. His poor legs are so red and sore after wearing these. Very disappointed

Skinny school shorts

Good quality, good fit. My 5yr old grandson wouldn’t wear the regular school shorts but likes the skinny style and is now happy to wear school shorts.

Slim Leg, Big Waist
14 June 2023

Good quality short with a narrow leg. The waist seems very big. We have to adjust the waist by quite a considerable amount to get them to fit. Would be nice if they did slim waist, slim leg. The leg is a nice fit as is the length

Very poor quality material!

I’d prefer to pay £2 more and get better quality material. I expect more from M&S..very poor quality. I can buy better along with my supermarket shop!
