Manfrotto used to make quality gear but not anymore. Their manufacturing has clearly gone to ruins. The first tripod I received the second stage leg (Single leg) fell off completely. It was held in but the smallest amount of what appears to be low grade super glue. This happened on my 2nd shoot in a commercial Interview setting. The tripod was babied and not abused.B&H fixed the issue immediately and sent me a replacement and took this one back. The replacement on its end shoo the foot fell off for the same reason bad glue job. I fixed this on my own as I didn't have time between shoots to send it in for fixing or replacement. A few shoots later the top stage disconnected from the top of the tripod. So the ENTIRE leg came off. Again for the the same reason bad ... MoreManfrotto used to make quality gear but not anymore. If you do, buy some JB Weld with it because your gonna have to fix Manfrotto's terrible manufacturing job.Its such a shame, I will not buy Manfrotto again after this experience.

I was slightly disappointed with the tripod. It is quite awkward to adjust to height and to drop down after use. The fluid head could do with having a more rigid setting on both pan and tilt. But I imagine it will get better with more use and the ball head adjustment is much better than trying to adjust each leg to get the camera level

I was slightly disappointed with the tripod. It is quite awkward to adjust to height and to drop down after use. The fluid head could do with having a more rigid setting on both pan and tilt. But I imagine it will get better with more use and the ball head adjustment is much better than trying to adjust each leg to get the camera level
I really have enjoyed this tripod since upgrading. This is the kind of tripod I wish I had before.
The legs are everything I wanted. The head barely handles my 22lb camera rig. It says it is rated for 26lbs. The head underperforms with 22lbs on it. Legs are great though. The head is a bummer.
The legs are still great, but the fluid head tilt drag knob has snapped off. I opened my bag to find the knob had broke clean off. The tilt function of the tripod is completely useless now. The tripod system has never left the bag that comes with it except on set and has been handled gently while on the job.
