Manfrotto Mini Pixi Black Tripod with Smartphone Clamp

Simple but solid. Far, far better than my previous shop-bought bendy stand that broke after three uses. The top grip detaches and can be attached to a larger tripod, it'll even function as a simple phone stand. The push-button to release the ball grip that allows you to quickly adjust the angle of the phone is an elegant and simple idea that saves a lot of messing with screws like in other devices. It was a bit stiff at first but now functions smoothly.Overall, I'm very happy.

Almost perfect

The PIXI mini-tripod has the usual awesome Manfrotto build quality and is surprisingly light-weight. One thing I didn't realize before the purchase is that the ball-head can't tilt more than 45 degrees in any direction, so movement is somewhat restricted. The phone clamp is less impressive, it's made of plastic and I sometimes fear for breaking it, when opening the grip open to grip a device, or when screwing on a 1/4" mount. It gets the job done, I just wish there was one made of aluminum instead, or some other more durable material.

Built like a Tank!

This is the best built mini tripod out there. the PIXI Smart is my everyday carry. As you can see in my pics I use a Cannon 7D Mark II with a 70-200mm 2.8 Mark II this kit is extremely heavy. The ribbed ball allows enough tension to not allow the ball to slip with the constant weight. I also use the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8. Both lenses carry a lot of weight and the Pixi hasn't failed. I do video interviews regularly and have placed the Pixi on all different kinds of surfaces to include car hoods, outdoor stairs and picnic tables. You cant tell the heft of construction until its in your hands. It is solid and built like a tank. The non slip pads on each leg are extremely tacky on any surface. Compact, solidly made little jewel

I have tried several mini pods for use with my iPhone and found that the mounting grips seemed flimsy. I lacked confidence that they would securely hold the phone.. So I was pleased to see this new design that Manfrotto has produced. The small ridges on both the top and bottom of the mount hold the phone securely. And the phone grip can be detached from the Mini and used on any standard tripod with a 1/4x20 fitting. The only shortcoming of the PIXI Mini is that it doesn't allow the ball head to shift the phone to a vertical position...at least I haven't figured out a way. I recommend it to anyone needing solid and secure support in a lightweight easily transportable mini pod.

Convenient and lightweight

I primarily use this tripod for time lapses when I'm baking or gardening. The legs are sturdy and easy to set up, plus the little swivel head is handy when I need to adjust the angle quickly. The clamp attachment for the phone is a little difficult to fix onto the phone but once it's on, it doesn't budge. Holds the weight of my phone with ease, as well as my standard point-and-shoot. Really great addition for any novice photographer/filmographer.

Excellent Mini Tripod

I got this mini tripod to play around at home during the current pandemic. It is a versatile product, although I would have preferred for the legs to be more amenable. I'm not complaining though, since the strong base provides a lot more stability.

Great quality and stable

Manfrotto make very good stuff and this mini tripod with smartphone clamp is no exception. Its very stable and makes an excellent handgrip to take steady photos. The clamp part is good and the slider mechanism is very smooth. I use it to support my Nokia n8 and its great. I bought a cheap 5 tripod and clamp, but the quality of the Manfrotto is 10x better. Its worth the money, go and buy it !!!!!!!!!

It's a perfect mini-tripod for my mobile photography.

I've been using the mini tripod since I bought it. I had one like this before my wife decided to give to her sister because of portability. Actually, my sister-in-law was eyeing my mini-tripod and asked my wife if she could have it. Without my permission, boom. Gone. Anyway, I have no problem with it. Larger Flatter Clip for iPhone 12's

The larger flatter grip on this clip works much better on the flat edges of the iPhone 12 models. The other Manfrotto clip has a circular clip for older iPhones and does not grab as well. These are really nice tripods, I carry one with me all the time.

Soso product with very limited functionality

Decent, but not worth the money. The head barely rotates. I would recommend other products, like the Gorilla tripod, for the same money.
