I bought my last Manfrotto monopod while on a job in Calgary, Canada in 1997.The fact it lasted 25 years is outstanding.Hope I can get half that time from my newest purchase. I primarily shoot Rugby and Concerts so the monopod gets nearly daily usage. I really like the height that this monopod opens to, at 6'3" it is important that I'm not bent over straining at the viewfinder. This was a quick hassle free purchase with very quick delivery. Couldn't be happier

There was no doubt that my New Monopod would be purchased from Manfrotto.I previously purchased the Manfrotto XPRO Fluid Head and the Manfrotto MT190XPRO4 tripod and this was outstanding so I bought the Manfrotto XPRO aluminium 4 section fluid video monopod, FLUIDTECH base as it was based on the same design and I wasn’t disappointed.

I love how well made this monopod is. The leg locks are the best I've used. Combined with the pro media gear katana junior gimbal head it's the ultimate choice for supporting heavy prime lenses for sports and wildlife photography. Stabilising feet and fluid resistant base makes it a must for action videographers for smooth capture. The equipment is superb matched by great speedy service from Wex.
I'm loving my new xpro video 4 monopod, walking through the nature reserves with it on my shoulder with my new manfrotto 502ah video head and camera attached is effortless.
Pros: This is a quality well designed product that is easy to use. Worked very well with a Canon 7D mk 2 and a 200 - 400 lens.Cons: Price is a bit high but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for"!!
Very well made and works perfectly, and with the Fluidtech Base my Canon 5D and Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens fitted it will stand up on its own without holding.If you intend to fit the Manfrotto quick release plate 323 to the top mount, the locking device on the plate stops it screwing fully down as the monopod mount is about 10mm to large in diameter, but it will fit if modified but this is not ideal.
