Manscaped Lawn Mower 4.0 - Shop Trimmers at Hairhouse

The lawn mower 4.0 touts ceramic skin safe blades that don’t cut or knick the skin. Completely false claim. Every single time I trim downstairs I get cut multiple times. The trimmer DOES NOT trim as close to the skin as they claim. A $20 Norelco trimmer actually trims closer to the skin. I can use the lawn mower & follow up with the Norelco & still trim shorter than the lawn mower by itself. Your trim area has to be silky smooth before u use this lawn mower or it will catch the skin every time without fail & cut you. Every time. Forced to upgrade after only 2 years

In my opinion, you probably don't have the best product, if your rechargeable battery dies after only 2 years. I assume I am not the only person who has had the 3.0 battery die out completely. I was offered a discount, but it was a meager 10%, and was offered a bit more later when I didn't find that satisfactory (another 10%). So, spend... $80 bucks 2 years ago? That makes the Manscaped Lawn Mower a $40/year investment. I like the design features (primarily the LED light and waterproof), but this 4.0 BETTER last more than 2 years. Have used this for almost a year now and really love it. The battery life is super long. The LED light is an essential, you know downstairs isn't always well lit. Waterproof is perfection, why get hair on your floor when you can let it go down the drain. The guards are essential, virtually impossible to cut yourself with one in place. It fits my hand perfectly and is surprisingly lightweight. The charger stand (wireless charging) uses a standard USB-C connector, so no worries if you lose the adapter included. Charging is fast and easy,The concept of a separate trimmer for upstairs beard and another for downstairs just makes too much sense. I bought into the hype, the hype isnt real. Cuts even your legs when trimming!

Unfortunately I fell into the hype that these guys have presented over the years. After ditching my Wahl beard trimmer which I've used for my body for years I was excited to receive these. Everything looks great upon ordering, packaging, and initial operation. 3 minutes into trimming my groin area on my leg it clips me and bleeding immediately. Go to the other side, clips again, bleeding immediately. Decide I would try them again 2 weeks later, first side, boom clips me bloody, Im done with these garbage clippers. As a side note, Im using them properly, am a fit and not overweight person, my skin is tight, their is no reason for this. Mostly works as advertised

Used it one time so far to get up to date on some grooming. It's very quiet and does cut pretty well. It's not like normal hair clippers that are moving really fast and cut fast fast. This thing seems to cut kind of slow, but it's not a problem. It's nice and small, and the two guards it comes with are really cool the way they both adjust to two different sizes, they're super easy to put on and adjust. I removed the guard entirely to do under arms and that worked great. Didn't cut me and scratch me at all like my old clippers. Also they didn't cut my below the belt, whereas my normal clippers tend to nik me here and there. I used them also to trim my eyebrows and they did a perfect job with the right attachment. Not at all happy!

I'm not at all happy! The very first time I used my Lawn Mower 4.0 to trim my groin I had all kinds of problems. I had fully charged it when I first unpacked it as instructed. As I was trimming with it, it kept shutting off on me. Obviously when a man is trimming his junk, you've got to move in all kinds of ways and hold the shaver in all kinds of ways to trim. So, I figured it was either a thumb or a finger that was unintentionally pressing the switch while trimming. I kept turning it back on and I would get no where and it would shut back off! This continued for a period of time and finally it stopped working! I couldn't get it to work and I was thinking...I couldn't have possibly run the battery down as I hadn't been trimming very long. I love my Philips and it didn't even cost half as much as the Lawn Mower 4.0 so yes I am unhappy with it and completely dissatisfied with my purchase. One star based on the quality of shave on my face.I ordered this after asking if it would be a great beard trimmer and I was assured it works very well for that purpose. This is the worst beard trimmer I have ever used! A lawn mower should only take a pass or two across your yard but this mower took no less than 30-40 passes across the same areas and the hair was still not cut evenly. I thought Manscaped would be a top of the line trimmer but it only comes with 2 size adapters which are used for 4 lengths. So much marketing was put into this product but lacks features and quality. 5 stars for customer service. Not long before purchasing the Lawn Mower 4.0, I'd purchased two different regular hair trimmers with the intention of using one for my head and the other for my nether realms. I tried to do some manscaping with one of them and nicked myself several times immediately, so I tried the second one only to nick myself some more. Those sorts of trimmers aren't designed with manscaping in mind.I knew at that point I'd have to upgrade to a purpose-built trimmer to get myself squared away before the Arizona summer. The light on the end is more helpful than I thought it would be. Even working on areas I thought were well enough lit, I noticed the light really helped highlight little hairs I'd missed. It's when confronting the harder-to-light and more obscured portions of the anatomy, though, that the light's performance truly shines. It's nice not to have to worry about visibility while doing manscaping gymnastics.I used the short guard on the blade the whole time since the instructions (probably wisely) recommended applying a guard. The blades do a great job of powering through and are very easy to get hair out of compared to other ones I've used. I didn't cut myself once, even on my skin tag which manages to get cut through a guard any other time I trim.The trimmer is also very quiet for the job it does. I didn't have to feel awkward about loudly manscaping over a lengthy period because the Lawn Mower was so quiet and made quick and thorough work of the job at hand.I hope the trimmer proves to be durable, as I hope never to downgrade to my previous manscaping equipment now that I've seen how easy that task can be with the right tools.
