My latest purchase of 1 Kg of Manuka Honey Mgo 70 has gone into stock for use in the short term, when the last 200gms remaining from my previous supply are consumed as a daily exercise (1 tspn + juice from citrus fruit + 3 cc spirit alcohol - optional!) before breakfast. Having followed this practice for about 21 months, I find I have considerably less of a problem than I was previously experiencing with catarrh and mucus which was creating congestion in respiratory areas such as the throat and bronchial passages.It could of course be owing to the inclusion of 3 cc. of Yellow Spot Irish Whiskey which is even more expensive than Manuka honey!!May I just add that I think the inclusion of honey among the products which can be purchased using accumulated cash bonuses ... Bought 4 jars, special offer good price. Sadly only 7 months shelf life compared to the several jars of Aldi manuka honey, best before 2026 that I also have. The 2 jars that I have opened contain solidified honey and as we all know seeping in warm or hot water does not restore the honey to it's former original state. Taste is ok but I suspect that my special offer was an attempt to get rid of soon to be expired stock. Slightly disappointed

Originally purchased out of desperation to try and heal my wifes extensive leg ulcer which the local clinic was unable to do after nearly 2 years. The wound healed completely after 6 weeks and has remained so for a year. I have also used it on my legs where even a simple scratch used to take 5 or 6 weeks to heal. Application of honey effected a complete heal in 3 days. Up to that point I was a complete unbeliever so no placebo effect. My wife suffers from asthma which required frequent nebulisation. A teaspoon of honey at the start of the attack prevented it going any further and also has reduced the frequency dramatically. More effective than the inhalers and nebuliser. The healing properties are nothing short of miraculous.
Wonderful taste. Lovely in Yogart and in Hot water with rosemary and lemon for sore throats. Will use to sooth vocal cords and improve voice! The Romans used honey as an anti bacterial on their battle wounds. Now that is a recommendation !

Not only does it taste great but I do believe it helps alleviate cold and sore throat symptoms when using it in my lemon, ginger, orange, buckwheat and MANUKA HONEY drink. It is so tasty that I drink it all the time!! Also the delivery is excellent and staff helpful when I have trouble ordering special offers online. Couldn't be happier with this product. I have used this honey for the past 9yrs and I believe it’s really helped my immune system. I have only had about 5 colds within that time by just having 1tsp every morning.
