As a further development of the awardwinning CD6006, the finely tuned CD6007 CD player offers even more carefully selected components and an improved circuit layout. Rigid feet reduce vibration, while the generously dimensioned lownoise power supply unit supplies the player's digital and analog circuits. The highquality AK4490 D/A converter with two selectable digital filters ensures highprecision conversion from digital to analog signals. These are routed to the goldplated outputs via the HDAMSA2 discrete operational amplifiers developed by Marantz itself. The matching PM6007 amplifier can also be controlled with the supplied remote control. The CD6007 has a newly developed, sophisticated headphone amplifier with impedance control, which allows the use of different types of headphones. Marantz has developed its own discrete circuits to replace conventional ICs. These HDAMs (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) consist of discrete components with short identical signal paths for the right and left channels. HDAMs have the same function as conventional IC operational amplifiers, but with their high flow rate and reduced noise, they far outperform them, providing more dynamic, precise and detailed sound. The CD6007 is equipped with the improved HDAM SA2 circuitry, which ensures an even more stable power supply.
