Perfect features notes of daffodil, rhubarb, almond milk and cashmeran. I would classify this as a sweet, fruity floral. I hate to say I don't really love it. I think it may be that I don't enjoy the daffodil note, which is pretty prominent, especially in the beginning. It reminds me somewhat of Bath and Body Works Plumeria, which I never enjoyed growing up. My nose likes it a little better after the dry down, with the hint of creamy almond coming through. I love an almond note, and it is pleasant in this fragrance. I still think that overall the perfume isn't for me. At the full dry down I do enjoy it, but by that time it has also faded to where I struggle to smell it! I don't want to take away from anyone who does really enjoy these fragrances, but we all have unique noses and body chemistry and mostly these don't work out for me!

I really like Perfect! I do not own nor have I ever smelled anything quite like it. It is a VERY tart and sweet in a unique candy-like way (get to that later).I pick up on the rhubarb undoubtably first and foremost, thus the intense tartness. The almond milk I detect—but not right away—adds a subtle creaminess that aids in subduing the aforementioned and repetitively-mentioned tartness that is blasted upon first spray/first stage. My nose actually detects the cedarwood before the almond milk and the cedarwood, though pretty subtle, truly anchors and balances this perfume and gives it some depth that would, in my option, not exist much without it. I have a hard time picking up the narcissus to be honest. And okay. Here it goes. It’s later: I must admit……once I ... MoreI really like Perfect! It’s later: I must admit……once I stumbled across more than several reviews saying this perfume smells like Jolly Ranchers………I cannot un-smell it. It really DOES smell very familiar to those slightly TART candies. To me, specifically the cherry one (but really it has that classic, unique, universal Jolly Rancher smell to it). Surprisingly this is not really a turn off for me, because, much like how the rhubarb is eventually subdued and balanced by the almond milk and cedarwood, so is the Jolly-Ranch-iness of it as well. WAIT DO JOLLY RANCHERS AND RHUBARB HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON???Anyway, for the fact that—at least to my knowledge—really nothing else exists quite like this I appreciate this fragrance a) because its uniqueness and b) it’s delicious.

This is such a pretty girl fragrance. It is light and airy and even a bit whimsical. She is perfect for day time / office wear as she is a pleasing crowd favorite. I would say she is well balanced- sweet, but not cloying. You will notice both the fruit and floral notes here. Some people say she smells like ripe bananas. I wouldnt say that, but to me she is more almond heavy. I prefer this over the edt but I also REALLY LOVE the intense version. All in all, this is a very safe blind buy if you don'thave access to smelling first. A crowd pleasing scent!

There's something about Marc Jacob's Perfect that just keeps drawing me in. I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this perfume. This perfume opens with juicy notes of rhubarb and bright daffodil that reveal a comforting heart of almond milk and finish with a soft dry down of cedarwood and cashmeran. Modern, bright, and feminine, Perfect is an unconventional yet harmonious clash of fresh florals and calm, smoothing notes. It's the PERFECT kind of fruity that manages to be sophisticated, light, and airy. It's similar to the subtlety and elegance of Jo Malone's Wild Bluebell, and just like Bluebell, this doesn't transform in terms of scent development. It stays pretty much the same from the first spritz to hours after. The bottle itself is adorable with the charms ... MoreThere's something about Marc Jacob's Perfect that just keeps drawing me in. Now I'm really curious about Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense lol I must try it. I think this fragrance would make a perfect addition for a perfume addict like myself.
This fragrance is one that I received a sample of from Nordstrom. I was intrigued by the description and thought it would be something that I would find appealing. My first impression of this fragrance was that it smelled overly sweet, almost like cotton candy. I was not a fan. After the dry down though, I was able to get more of the floral and almond milk and the sweetness dissipated quite a bit. It was something that I kept getting a wiff of and it made me happy and smile. This is something I will wear again before I decide whether or not to purchase a full size. It really did grow on my immensely.
I recently tried out the Marc Jacobs Fragrances Perfect Eau de Parfum, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The initial burst of rhubarb and daffodil was refreshing and invigorating, making it a perfect choice for daytime wear. As the scent settled, the almond milk and cedarwood notes added a cozy and comforting feel without becoming too heavy. What stood out to me was how well it transitioned from the initial spritz to the dry-down. The cashmeran base note lingered nicely on my skin, giving the fragrance longevity that I appreciated. It's a fragrance that feels youthful yet sophisticated, and I've received compliments whenever I wear it. I have become a crazy perfume lady over the last year, always needing something new so the sephora sets are my absolute favorite things about the change of seasons. This one always seems to be in the set, and I always hated it when testing it where I didn't even try it on. On a tester (and even just smelling itself) it is VERY sweet, both me and my mom automatically tossed it to the side because we both didn't like it. Well, I wasn't super impressed with the ones in the set I thought I'd like so I decided to try this one out and see how it was on the skin. Again, as soon as I sprayed it on I almost regretted it, it gave me flashbacks to the 2000s cotton candy spray every 10 year old doused themselves in - HOWEVER, once it dried down I was in LOVE. Again, as soon as I sprayed it on I almost regretted it, it gave me flashbacks to the 2000s cotton candy spray every 10 year old doused themselves in - HOWEVER, once it dried down I was in LOVE. It was much less sweet and more complex than I had expected, it no longer smelt like fake sugar and smelt fresh and floral and fruity. It is the most gorgeous feminine smell for spring time, I'm the type to lean heavily towards warmer heavier scents that pair great with fall and winter and this has a touch of warmth in its fruity floral scent to satisfy that craving I have. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that it doesn't have the longevity and sillage I was hoping for, maybe I go scent blind but I feel like I lose the scent very quickly, and by the end of my work day its barely noticeable even if I smash my nose on my wrist and smell like there's no tomorrow 😂 as for the sillage that may just be a me thing, if I'm going to wear a perfume I want people to be able to smell it (without choking of course) and this is just more intimate for my liking. But with Layering this will definitely be in my top rotation for my spring scents! So if you've smelt it and immediately discounted it for its sweetness, TRY AGAIN ON SKIN!!!
Marc Jacobs Perfect stands out to me as one of the most unique designer fragrances currently available at Sephora. Perfect is a very delicate floral scent accented with a "green" narcissus note to balance the sweetness of the rhubarb. This is supported by a creamy, soft, nutty almond milk note and slightly woody base. So pleasantly surprised by the different accords this scent has to offer, and that they are blended together so seamlessly. Sillage is moderate, and the scent lasts around 4 hours on my skin. The notes of this fragrance aren't what you'd expect, but they come together to create such a sweet, delicate scent. This has become my go-to scent for transitioning from cold winter weather into spring!
Hello pretties, I have tried several samples of this version of MJ perfect, and I really dislike it. I prefer the Daisy Eau So Fresh. The perfect to me, has a masculine tone that does not match the whimsical pastel art treatment of the design. The doodling, and eclectic bouquet is cute, but smells like old sneakers in a gym bag, foot funk. I typically dislike cloves and anything too oriental or garamound, woody or hippie. It reminds me of black licorice or patrouli oil. If you are a gender neutral, non binary person, or lgbtq+, this might appeal to both your "they" sides. For me, I lean toward warm feminine, floral sweet, scents. I have a round MJ Perfect wristlet with a cherry zipper, in my collection that I am keeping, but I strongly dislike this variation. I have tested it over 10 times and never can I get into the mood. I am going to spray it in my steward trunk to sanitize cover any trapped musty odors that don't fabreeze out. I don't want any more samples of this. Its tomboyish.
I always loved Marc Jacobs perfume, so when I smelled this on my friend I knew I had to have this one too. I personally do not like uber floral scents or anything musky like an old lady (I'm 29). I've been an ari cloud girl for the last year, but after my bottle ran out I didn't repurchase because it never lasted long enough. Well I can say all my M.J perfumes, and this one especially last! Maybe not all day, but if you put it on the right points, (behind the ear, nape of neck, and wrists) you do get some lasting smell. This is pricey, but worth it. I only buy the 1oz bottles because I like to switch things up. I like this, daisy, and daisy love as well.
