There’s nothing better than homemade pasta. Once you’ve tried it, there’s no going back to store-bought dried pasta in a box. I’ve been searching for a high quality hand crank pasta maker for some time now and when I found the Atlas 150 at Crate and Barrel I thought it was too good to be true. But after purchasing and using it several times I have to say it’s the best pasta maker I’ve used. It completely fits my needs, is very durable and extremely high quality. There’s nothing flimsy about this pasta maker. I’ve made linguini, lasagna, and egg noodles and all have turned out perfectly. Don’t wasted your money on pasta makers from any other store.

This thing is fantastic, and after a few practice batches, homemade pasta becomes fast and easy. The texture of homemade can't be beat. I made the mistake of buying a different brand after having one of these for many years. The rollers didn't catch the pasta sheet right and it was a mess. I'm here to buy my second Atlas. One tip: DON'T buy the ravioli feeder, buy a flat aluminum (no dishwasher!) ravioli mold and roller instead. If you have a hole in your pasta sheet with the mold, you simply don't fill it and discard the piece--if you have a hole with the ravioli feeder, it's a mess! Homemade ravioli is amazing and can be frozen.

The Marcato Atlas 150 pasta machine is a hand crank, well built pasta roller. The machine has settings from 0 (thickest) to 9 (thinnest) settings. It was super easy to set up and use, and my 9 year old keeps asking us to make more. The unit was new but the outer box was slightly damaged (as advertised). The inside unit was perfect with no marks and functions as advertised. I have made fresh pasta 5 times in 2 weeks since receiving the unit and am super happy. I also purchased separately two alternate cutters for Spaghetti and ravioli and they both attached easily and also worked as described. Overall a great addition to our family kitchen.
I have always been put off buying a pasta maker because I foolishly thought it would be complicated and difficult to use.This Marcato machine is really simple and helps you rolls out your dough to the correct thickness and consistency before you run it through the choice of cutters to make whatever type of pasta you want.Not only does this machine look great but it feels like it has real weight and heft which is useful when you secure it to your worktop (using the clamp supplied) and start feeding the dough through it.Our daughter has a cheaper/lighter machine and wishes she had saved up for one like this which feels more substantial as it helps the rolling process.Very pleased with this and would recommend. Even our cat approves.
I bought this a few months ago and have frequently been using it when given the chance. With just some flour and eggs, it's magical what tasty food you can make. The roller is smooth and flattens the dough out easily and uniformly. The attachments cut the dough into noodles easily. You must not get the noodle cutter attachment wet as it makes the dough stick. The machine is bit difficult to clean but if you appropriately use flour, you should have no issues with dough/noodles getting caught.
Great machine. Sturdy and easy to use. Great results.If you love Fresh Pasta, and love to cook Italian, then this is the one to buy. I plan on purchasing the little electric motor that plugs onto the side, or perhaps a Wish list gift from our kids. I also like the web site showing all the accessories and equipment available. I had purchased the Mercato Atlas Wellness pasta maker 150 mm and it took approximately 4 days to be delivered. The Wellness package had the cutters for Flat lasagna, 6mm fettuccine and 1.6mm tagliolini rollers included which was what I was looking for to start my pasta journey. Ordered from Consiglio’s Kitchen as it was the best priced. Watched the video on their site to start as they are well done. My husband cannot stop raving. Made ravioli using the lasagna rollers and it turned out perfectly. Happy customer.

Exceptional build quality. Smooth operation, easy to clean out with a brush. Consistent and uniform cutting of the pasta. The finish of the machine is exquisite.
