If you want to be able to do more with a pasta maker, buy the 150mm (6”) model.Consiglio’s Kitchenware offered nothing but confirmation that o purchased the wrong machine.Not great on customer care.

Purchased this hoping to ease the job of making Empanada discs ... the ones you can buy here are great for cocktails and snacks, but are too small for "Lunch". At the end of the day, not ideal, but it does everything it's supposed to do beautifully and efficiently. Wonderful wider bed for sheet pasta (like lasagna), works perfectly! It even does a great job "finishing" (evening out) the empanadas discs that we've done manually, but it's not pasta dough ... so only 3 stars for making empanadas ... but the full 5 stars for the pasta making functions it's intended for, and we're definitely keeping it ...

I really wanted this machine but it was out of stock for the longest time ( Covid ? ). When it was finally in stock I ordered and it arrived promptly the next day, nicely and carefully packaged. Amazon has never done that. The price has dropped by $5 but that is okay - it was still cheaper than Amazon and had the alloy rollers while Amazon had the older aluminium rollers. I haven't used it yet but am sure it will live up to expectations.

This is a great machine and a great buy if you make pasta at home and have quarantine-time. This is the machine for those who value tradition, Italia, & quality.Mine arrived and there was an issue with the bottom rubber, it was loose and some pasta was catching. No problem, Sur La Tab, exchanged it until I canceled the replacement and ordered the Kitchen Aid pasta attachments for double the price. Because my quarantine-time bank is running low and I need my pasta-days to become pasta hours. And I want my kitchen to fully embrace the machine and speed era while producing high-quality pasta.
The extra size of this machine is great. My biggest issue is that the cutting bar for the fettuccine cut does not extend all the way to the edge so the noodles ball up on either side of the cutting bar. I end up having to remove the combs and spend several minutes cleaning out the balled up dough.Other than that it works smoothly and like the 150 just with greater capacity.
I bought this machine after a lot of research and found this to be the best choice. It is a very well built machine. Very sturdy and the cogs run very smoothly. I chose this one as it is a wider machine. It makes short work of making crackers as well as pasta for a busy small pub
Seems like a very well built unit. Effortlessly created pasta sheets for ravioli the first time. Still not coordinated enough to feed the dough, crank the handle, and gather the sheet as it comes through but hopefully time will sort that out. Or maybe an extra pair of hands will help. The machine clamps down well to the work top and is very solid.
This product has earned the Worldwide recognition it deserves. As in many things manufactured in Italy this item and all available attachments are sturdy and well-built. Consumer may expect long life with proper cleaning and of course superior product results. This should be the go-to item for all those interested in controlling the quality of the pasta products they put on the table. Salute to Marcato and Consiglio!
Fantastic! At first glance I was intimated but after watching a few videos it was soooo simple. I truly wish I had gotten this long ago. I realized after my purchase that this name brand and machine is rated as one of the top machines. I never knew and am so grateful. Of course it is...it comes from Italy. GREAT delivery..had within 48 hours.
I haven't used the unit yet. It looks like a nice machine and looking forward to it. But I will rate this as a 3 star until Marcato takes care of my issue with the Biscuit Machine I ordered at the same time that is missing a handle. I purchased through Consiglio Kitchenware where generally they have been very good in the past a replacing a missing or broken part. But I'm disappointed this hasn't been resolved.
