A quality jacket with well considered design

Warm, smart and practical. The stretch panels in the sleeves make this jacket very comfortable to wear yet fitted and stylish enough for casual corporate wear. I have no reservations in giving 4 stars; have only withheld the 5th because the pale blue is more dull than it appears in the photographs (neatly grey) and I’d prefer it to be a bit longer. Otherwise I’m very happy with it and would consider purchasing another colour.

This is a very comfortable and well fitting jacket. I love how it can be dressed up or down. The colour is beautiful and exactly as shown. I chose this colour because I only have dark coloured outerwear which although practical, is quite depressing. This brings a gorgeous colour to my outifts. The length is just perfect to wear with long dresses, as I find longer jackets to look odd.The jacket is very warm and cosy. I am however a little concerned that it will pill and look worn after some wear, because the felt material already looks quite fuzzy.

Fantastic jacket

The Marcs Lani wool jackets are so fabulous. I have this style in multiple colours and have now just bought the beautiful red colour. These are amazing as they are warm but light and they team well with so many things. I wear mine with anything from leggings to corporate wear. Chic and stylish. True to size (I am size 10 and bought size 10). A perfect fit.

Good red but not made well.
9 July 2024

I'm unsure about this jacket. The positives: the red is the perfect red I wanted and the fit around the body (size 8) is perfect, the zip style is also functional and looks good. However....why are the sleeves SO long, and the way they're constructed leaves a lot to be desired. It's been made the easiest cheapest way with just a chunky fold where the zip sits around the cuff, so it's bulky and unattractive. Other zipped jackets made the right way have a flat piece of fabric under the zip so it all sits nice and flat. So....I'm not sure I will keep it....disappointed.

Husband Pleaser.
21 May 2024

I bought this lovely camel woollen jacket from Myers, worn it a few times already and love it. So wonderfully warm and classy. Can wear the top of the jacket in a couple of different ways. My husband had recently said I wasn’t dressed very well, so decided to go shopping. He likes the jacket , happy husband now.

I love this jacket!
15 June 2023

I love this jacket! I have 3 now. They bring out new colours each year. The fabric wears really well (doesn't pill or pull) and it's a versatile weight. It can be worn in winter zipped all the way up or worn open when it's warmer. Great for a cool day which gets cooler in the evening and it's flattering open or closed.I'm 5'2" so I can drown in long jackets unless I wear heels (although I did buy one of the long versions too, I just don't wear it as much). This jacket gives me a great shape. I just can't say enough good things about it! Keep making them please Marcs.

My 2nd Marcs Lani jacket!
8 July 2024

I purchased my very first Lani jacket is Ash almost 10 years ago and it is still in amazing shape. I get lots of compliments whenever I wear it as it pairs nicely with a lot of ensembles. I decided to buy another one in ultramarine as the colour compliments a lot of my clothes. However, comparing my very first Lani jacket to this one, I notice a huge difference in the quality of the felted wool. The felted wool on this latest generation of Lani jackets is clearly thinner and doesn't feel as "long lasting" as older ones. In saying that, despite the thinner material, it still does a great job of keeping you warm. I hope that Marcs can get it back to some of the more well-made earlier iterations in future seasons.

Perfect blazer replacement
27 June 2024

I love this jacket - everything hoped it would be. It’s soft but structured, very warm and looks classy but up to date. I needed a new black blazer but wanted something more interesting and this is perfect. True to size. Good value on sale. In store I also saw that it comes in many colours which are all lovely.

Quality jacket, very flattering and versitile!
16 August 2024

It's a beautiful quality jacket that is super versitile and goes with everything. I purchased it in black and it has become my go to jacket. I chose my usual size and it fit great. I think the size down would have been alright but might be more restrictive on what can be worn underneath. The only thing is the sleeves are a little too long but other than that I'm happy I bought it and have worn it a lot since.

Stylish and nice fit
15 November 2023

This is a beautiful violet colour, and the fit is very comfortable all over. It is made true to size. The finishing overall is nicely done, and the zip works smoothly. The sleeves are slightly long for me (I'm 1.6m tall) but they don't hang because the ribbed panel in the sleeve holds the sleeve in place. However, if your arms are on the short side then be aware that the wrist zips could make permanent taking up difficult, and even leaving the wrist zips open and casually turning the sleeves up mightn't work.
