I don't necessarily mind it. There are a couple of things I don't like about it, being that the gap between the seat pad and the back pad is sizable enough that you feel like your butt is getting wedged in there if the back pad is flat and you're doing ab workouts while sitting back. The two sets of cushions that hold your legs in are a little tight/narrow between each other in the sense that you have to angle your feet backwards a little bit just to place your legs between the cushions. Would like to see the bottom cushion moved outward a little bit.Other than that it's a sturdy bench and does the job. I weigh just over 200 lbs and it does well for a guy like me.

This bench is very sturdy for the price. The incline portion does sway back and forth slightly if you push it back and forth with your hand because it is only supported by a metal rod going into a slot. However, when you are sitting on it you won't notice it. Also, the leg pads are easily removable as it is only 2 bars with 2 pads. There is a gap of around 3 inches when in decline position that I wish was less, but I have been able to do sit-ups without discomfort still, but you have to take care to get in the right position. I am 5'10" and it is long enough to support my head, but barely.

This is a good not heavy duty bench. It assembles easy and the design is practical for keeping the price down. If you are big or using heavy weights or just rough on your stuff get a heavier more expensive bench. Only drawback is that if you move it by the back the brace slips out of the slot so you just have to move it differently or pay the extra to the one that has the lock or pin at the brace. I am happy with mine.

Was looking for something during the quarantine and found this in store. Easy to assemble and light weight, so easy to move around as needed. A bench of this size isn’t intended for super heavy lifting, a nice bench for lighter weight and toning. Only con is the bench is short. You can’t really flat bench on it, at least at my height (6’1”). I make it work but it isn’t super ideal if you’re over 5’8” or so. But otherwise it hits all the right angles just fine.
My husband and I bought 2 of these to assist in our efforts to complete the Beachbody Body Beast program. We were looking for a very simple bench (seeing that this would be the first time needing a bench and didn't want to go all out with the money just in case it didn't work out). A bench that does flat as well as a seated upright and slightly laid back positions. This bench is working out perfectly for us. The bench does wobble slightly but isn't too big of a deal for us knowing that we understood we weren't getting the top of the line product. This bench is a great deal for the price. The only downside for us, is that we don't need the leg holders at the end but again, not that big of a deal. We just work around them. Definitely would recommend this for beginners ... MoreMy husband and I bought 2 of these to assist in our efforts to complete the Beachbody Body Beast program. This is a GREAT UTILITY BENCH!!! MY SON LOVES IT. He has already put it together and we hadjust the right tools to do it! it took him maybe one hour to do it! Marcy is a Great company, and WALMART HAD A GREAT DEAL ON THIS. WHAT A GREAT PRICE, WALMART! WE LOVEIT. OF COURSE YOU ALWAYS HAVE GREEEEAAAAT DEALS, AND I JUST LOVE YOURROLLBACKS!!!! THANKS SO MUCH. I RATE THIS UTILITY BENCH 1000 PERCENT!I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS A UTILITY BENCH, AT THISGREAT PRICE.
Works well for our workouts. I even stand on it to do weighted types of lunges and lower body work. Inclines to multple positons so works well for various workouts and body types. I like that its sturdy but light weight so i can carry to the living room to use during my aerobics routine. For the price, its a great piece of equipment for a home gym.
My gal and I just bought this for our garage. Already overlooking that at 5'10" I barely fit my head onto the backboard, we decided we inly needed a basic bench anyway. It took us less than 10min to realze that the absolutely correctly applied #15 screws were too short to connect to the absolutely correctly placed parts, washers, and nuts.We are returning the equipment which will likely be ground up as scrap waste rather than be restocked. By the way, 15 years ago I worked for Academy so I do know that they trash rather than restock most returned items. This bench is a waste even for cheap and basic. Find something nice used if you want to shave costs.
It’s poorly designed, the seat back where it connect to base to incline and decline, it’s like a peg in an over sized hole. So if you lift heavy the whole things sways side to side like an seesaw. Plus the leg catch that holds your ankles. Unless u got little tiny legs and are super flexible it’s an awkward bend and puts to much pressure on your knees like your about to snap when it’s in decline mode.. let’s just say it’s super uncomfortable.
Solid sturdy construction. However, am disappointed that the main pad does not have a flat position. Of the four positions in which the main pad can be adjusted, the position which should be flat still has angle to it so it is not possible to sit evenly on the side of the bench to do dumbbell exercises. As well, the small angled seat pad is too short when doing situps. Part of your year end and spin end up being situated in the gap between the seat pad and the longer back paid. Very uncomfortable. Must put a towel or other pad between the two existing pads. And I am not a tall person with long legs (only 5'9"). May be good for a person with short legs.
