Mares Razor Pro Fins Black Size 43
Mares Razor Pro is a new fin with an interchangeable blade. The foot pocket is incredibly comfortable due to the design developed in collaboration with a leading Italian foot (podology) clinic. Its shapes and the extra thickness on the instep and the tensioners under the arch have been meticulously researched to convey the maximum amount of energy produced to the blade, yet still provide complete comfort. The ample 22 Degree angle of the blade to the foot pocket allows the fin to become a natural extension of the leg, making fining easier. The variable-thickness blade bends during the various phases of fining action, achieving an ideal flexion curve; this is due in part to the use of the best techno-polymers, the true core of agility and elasticity. The special design of the channels on the blade and the lateral stringers on the foot pocket make it possible to channel and increase the flow of water toward the pronounced V" at the tip, increasing thrust and preventing the fin from slipping laterally. Its light weight and power give the Razor Pro the best yield among all the techno-polymer fins currently available on the market. The size 7/8 (41/42) fin blade measures 34.65" (880mm) and weighs 31 oz. (1,095g). Fins come in multiple sizes and colors.

The first fins I bought for just free diving. Wow what a difference from the ones I have when diving. Haven't used them much yet. But so far I'm happy. I look at carbon fiber. But was recommending these. Precisely for the price and that you as a new person easily hit stones and the like. When you are at the beach.

Excellent fins. Very resistant and reactive. I use them to go quite deep. The foot pocket is a bit large so I use 5 mm socks to compensate. Still it's not as tight as I would like. My foot size is 45 and I got the 45-46.

I wear size 9US (42.5 EU). My Cressi fins 41-42 fit me perfectly. This Mares 41-42 is much bigger, even with 3mm socks it feels a little loose. The length isn't so bad but the foot pocket is wide and I have narrow feet. Maybe 39-40 would have fit better.

I bought these for free diving this summer for Lobsters off the coast of MA. I have never owned a pair of fins like these so this was a first. I loved the price compared to others I was looking at online. They took a beating with no signs of wear and felt smooth. I started using them without a pair of booties and paid the price with two huge blisters on my Achilles. I went out a bought a pair of 2mm neoprene socks and they worked like a charm. All in alll I LOVE THESE FINNS AND WILL KEEP THEM FOR A LONG TIME!!!
Usually 43 in shoes. Went for 43-44 to wear with 7mm socks. Fits nice, but if you have wide feet I would suggest one size up. These footpockets are seriously nice and the blades are powerful.
Great fins for long dives and swims in current. Used Riffe Silent Hunter's for years and am used to very stiff fins. The Razor's are a little softer and actually feel a lot lighter when diving. But I still have great performance.
Fins are constructed of exceptional material and quality. I ordered 2 sizes smaller than my shoe size. I do Not wear rubber socks with fins. This size I ordered feels great with regular socks (which is what I wear) or barefoot. They have a slight angle between blade and foot pocket, which almost makes it ackward to put on on land. I've never had a pair of fins with this angle, but I haven't owned many fins, and I've previously only worn Cressi's. However, I have not swam in these yet. I must say that they are of exceptional quality. Great.
First I ordered these fins in size 43/44 (have foot size 43), this turned out far too big (even with 3mm neoprene socks) .. so i sent these back and ordered 41/42. These fit perfect (with 3mm sock) but also nice without! Havent tested in water yet but these are by far one of the most popular beginner apnea finnish and for this price a great deal
I got these fins as a new freediver. I didn't want to go with carbon fiber or fiberglass, because I want to be able to throw the fins around on rocks, boats, trunk of my car,, etc, without worrying they'll break. Plus, good technique and physical fitness beats better equipment any day ;-)One warning: these fins are EXTREMELY small. Get one size smaller, or even 2. I wear size US 10.5 sneakers, 9.5 shoes, and ordered the fins in size 7-8 as I had read they are small. Guess what? They were STILL too large. So large that I could actually insert my fingers between my foot and side of the fin. I ended up returning them for a size 5.5 - 6.5 (!). They now fit, but a bit tight. I wish there was size 6.5 - 7...PS I do not wear booties.
I used these fins for a long time myself when I started freediving journey, and as a freedive instructor,my students used these fins. They are very durable and give a good amount of power. The fin is fairly stiff, which is great for beginner/intermediate freedivers.
