Mario Badescu - Mint Lip Balm

This product is a pretty decent lip balm- it gets the job done. I like the applicator, it makes application very easy and I typically prefer a liquid lip balm formula over a stick lip balm. I found this product to be pretty moisturizing, but the one thing I really couldn’t get past was the smell. This product has a pretty strong rose scent, and I could smell/taste it every time I put this product on. I am not a fan of rose scented things so I could not wait to finish this product up. I recommend this product to anyone who likes or doesn’t mind the scent of rose, otherwise, the scent can be kind of overpowering.

This is one of my favorite lip products. I have extremely dry lips that are prone to peeling and cracking, no matter how much water I drink or what lip masks I use, etc. As a result, I am constantly looking for items to help. This is one of the only products I consistently use and re-buy. It moisturizes my lips and makes the peeling less noticeable, it is affordable (!!), it lasts a while, doesn’t make me want to eat it, and it adds a nice gloss look to my lips. My lips will often feel a lot better even after it wears off. It’s not a miracle and doesn’t fix my problems but it’s one of the best I’ve found so far!

Actually works (not clickbait)

I think I bought this quite a few months ago, wanted an actually long lasting lip balm that wasn't too sticky, didn't taste like anything (I know it's dumb but I hate tasting my lip balm when I take a sip of water lol), and actually kept my very dry and often cracked lips actually moisturized for once! And yeah, this one was juuust right. I can attest the the long term results, been using it for months (a little goes a long way, even for me) and my lips stopped being annoyingly dry all the time. From using this lip balm (original, your girl don't do no scented stuff) my lips have stayed moisturized and I genuinely didn't realize the difference until now, that's how much I've gotten used to having soft lips thanks to this lip balm. Best lip balm EVER

This is the only lip balm I have used the last 3+ years. No other lip balm works for me the way this one does. Literally every other lip balm, lip oil, chapstick, etc has only made my lips worse. It's like they cause my lips to peel worse and make them look red and slimy, not a good look. But the Mario Badescu mint one is not like those at all, it actually improves my dry lips and calms them down with the light minty feeling. So my lips have a beautiful healthy color to them instead of looking inflamed. It has a nice glossy sheen to it as well. The tube lasts FOREVER so the price is very well worth it!

Best yet, I've tried a lot

I've tried basic brands such as Blistex, Aquaphor, highly rated brands such as Laneige mask, Keihl's buttermask (thick in a jar), Keihl's Lip Balm #1, C.O. Bigelow: My Favorite Night Balm . . . and this is the best! I bought the flavorless and it's just the right amount of moisturizing, very smooth, not too heavy or a thick paste, but most of all, works on my dry lips in the wintertime. Be sure to put water on your lips prior to using any lip balm for more effectiveness.

Great lip balm for chapped lips or to keep your lips moisturized.

The lip balm works wonderful for me. Especially since my lips are always chapped. The Mint Lip Balm gives my lips a break from alll the pain that I get from chapped lips.I just wish Mario Bedesco would sell it in 2 different sizes. The small size the way you sell it. Also a larger size would help since I use it a few times a day. Would definitely recommend this product. I’ve tried so many different ones and this seemed to work the best for my lips.

Nice and thick the way I like balms to be

Love this brand and wasnt sure how a lip balm would turn out to be, however i got it as a gift and this is my favorite lip balm right next to eos mint balm as well. The consistency is perfect to my liking, its thick like EOS not thin like blistex, carmex, or chapstick. I know we all have our preferences, and thin balms dont work good for me, it feels like nothing on my lips, so finding a thick consistency lip product that's affordable and worth it, is always something im on the lookout for. I truly fell in love with this lip balm no lie. The size is great. I loveeeee mint but i do wish this one was more minty.

Perfect Winter Balm for Dry Lips

I recently got this lip balm in a Mario Badescu Winter Glow Essentials box as a gift and absolutely love it. Of all the items that came in the box, the balm is my favorite. I get very dry, chapped lips in the winter and this balm is perfect! If you're looking for long lasting lip hydration, this balm is perfect and has a good coconut scent. I don't have to re-apply too often so I can see this tube lasting me for awhile. I definitely recommend purchasing!

i am in love

I was very hesitant to buy this brand bc i have heard mixed reviews but i am so happy i tried this product. I apply it twice a day - once after my morning skincare routine & once after my nighttime skincare routine. My lips feel softer & less flaky everytime i use this. This is better than any $20 lip product i have ever tried. Forget laniege, forget biossance, forget anything that costs more than this.I also noticed i don't lick my lips as often now that i wear this.10/10 recommend
